 He is a rescue bird. A friend of mine who is involved with helping a city shelter with dog rescue came across him at a home that had a dog and 8 puppies. All the animals were taken by ACO and police. My friend has 3 cockatiels so she offered to take him in and find him a home. She called me and I met him and fell in love!. |

Absolute favorite is graham cracker pieces but he doesn't get these very often. So daily treats (in small amounts) are millet and sunflower seeds.
 In his sleep tent, on his wooden swing, on his play top, on his boing, on his jungle gym.
 Running out of Avicakes in his bowl.
 She is home with me most of the time so that I can get used to my new home. She dances with me, talks with me, lets me play outside my cage for many hours each day, and is very patient with me (which is important because I'm not sure that I'm totally comfortable yet).
 Loves to dance, sometimes hangs out on top of his sleep tent.
 The key to a happy, healthy pet is education - educate yourself before you get a pet so you can make sure you can provide everything the animal needs..

Thank you for stopping by and giving me a vote. I gave you a vote as well. You are a beautiful Parrot. It's great to see that you have such great owners as well. My owner is thinking about breeding as well. Not me of course cause I am her baby. But thinking about either breeding Sun Conures or Hahns Macaws. She is doing lots of research on that stuff too. If your owner has any tips for her it would really be appreciated.

Pigeons are very under-rated. Though ours are not very tame yet as they were partially wild, they have already shown their personalities. They are very interesting to watch and they make such cool noises.

Thanks for the compliment. We have 6 birds, 2 doves, a tiel, a moustached parakeet, an African grey and me. We also have 2 dogs, and mom fosters baby wild animals occasionally. She volunteers at a local wildlife rehabilitation center, so she fosters little squirrels and/or possums when the center gets crowded. Hope you can find your way around BC, and if you need a hand write to me, I'll help if I can.
We are having a sunny but cool day today and we think for the rest of the week. Mom and her sister went swimming at the gym yesterday and today, so they are getting the most out of their month long membership. Mom is thinking of signing up for a 3 month one when this is over. Mom upped the new little guy's formula to 50% today, and he's doing okay...We still have our fingers crossed. It's talk like a pirate day, so I'm saying AAARRRGGGHHHH to all my friends today, heehee.
