 TOOK NEMO TO THE VET TODAY TO GET HIS BEAK REPAIRED AND FOUND SAVANNAH IN A BIRD STORE WHILE I WAS SHOPING FOR A BIRD LIGHT FOR NEMO. SHE WAS SO SWEET AND SHE CAME RIGHT TO ME AND THE STORE OWNER SAID SHE WOULD BITE BUT SHE DIDNT AND ALL I COULD THINK HOW SWEET AND GEORGE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A FRIEND. I LEFT, WENT TO ANOTHER STORE AND WENT RIGHT BACK AND GOT HER.. |

Hello there Savannah
hanks for flying by my cage. I got my cage cleaned yesterday too...and I got a new heated perch and a new toy today in the mail from my friend, so I am all nice and cozy with my new stuff. I LOVE new stuff. I am eating my veggies as we speak. Do you love corn? We all love it here. Mom can't give us anything mixed because if we see corn, we won't eat anything else. I bet I am missing more feathers than George, but...I do it to myself. Uncle Jack came for a visit and says I do look so much better. I keep pulling out my tailfeathers before they come in all the way, though...not sure why I do that. Mom handfeeds me Harrisons Pellets because I won't eat them on my own. We'll see if it helps. Great to hear from you. My beak is much more red than black now, but I am still missing alot of my feathers...not sure if they will ever grow back.
