While others might be watching the football game's, I am sending mom and pops to a BIRD SHOW, which means more toys and treats. Mom and pops went to a bird show in Orlando yesterday, and me and the little brother got a few new toys. Pops is working on re-making some of our older ones I chew into little pieces. He got some new blocks, and stuff to string on the chain. Sounds Like fun.Come visit me, Tweet & Squak.

Mornin' McCartney
How's that little parakeet doin'? From the looks of him on his profile page, he is one tiny little feller. You have to wonder where in the world he came from, to be that small and be outside. He must be one tough little bird to survive bein' lugged around by his tiny little tail for a couple of hours. Yikes!
The intense heat 'n humidity that Mother Nature was havin' fun throwin' our way has taken a break, leavin' us with some very tolerable temps so I've been spendin' a lot of time outside this past week. We could use a little rain though. The other day, about 10 drops feel out of the sky, enough to get me t'thinkin' about takin' a bath. Since all I had was the tiny cup of water that was near my perch in the aviary, I commenced to tossing beak-fulls of water over my back. Fortunately mom saw me and filled my flat pan with water so I could take a more proper bath. Feels good t'be cleaned up.
Hope your Saturday's an exciting one. Maybe Mallory'll come by and give you walnuts. That's awesome that you get along so well with her, even to the point you can sit on her shoulder. You're one cool dude, McCart.

Hey-O, McCartney!
RaneBeau here, finally. Man, there were like five, six days there where I didn't getta log into the BC... think that's the longest I've ever gone since signin' on some four plus years ago. Sorry I missed out on the chance t'help make Sammy the BOTD. I see that he was awarded the honor - Cool! Bet he was touched by his family thinkin' of him in that special way. I did make it by t'share a vote with little Zak though. He's sure a cutie. He's about the size of your beak, right?
And speakin' of your beak, what's this about YOU running the skin sis into the bathroom? I didn't know you'd do any such thing! I can see me doin' that to the guys here — runnin'm into some room and keepin'm there, but somethin' tells me they wouldn't let it last for more than a couple of minutes. They'd've taken the shower rod down or thrown some towel over me to distract me so they could escape! I'd've happily chased'm to the next room, thinkin' it was all a game.
