 As most of you know, Birdie Baseball has been tentatively reinstated, and many new teams will be forming in the coming 3 or 4 months, I just want to jump start our Raiders team in the right direction! BTW for those who don't know, I was chosen by our past commissioner uncle Tim when my dear friend, and his beloved little girl Asha crossed over the Rainbow Bridge! I plan is to field the best Amazon team there can be, and I promise to coach with the same fire in my heart and enough spirit to rock your socks! The difference this year is, I do not realistically expect to win all the games, but our team will be very completive! Our ultimate goal will be not just to win games, but have a good time with all other teams, and walk off the field as the good friends we have all always been! All my Raiders will conduct themselves as ladies and gentlemen, INCLUDING ME, and I am going to practice by saying nice things to te umpires, (ooh, that's going to be tough)! Good luck every birdie, see ya on Kevlar Field...

Is there a species of birds more determined, more driven than Amazons? I don't think so! I think this group so wants to have a good time tomorrow, they're going to do all in their power to make that happen. It's not winning that makes it a good time, it's satisfaction in HOW we play and work together that makes for a good game. I for one am looking forward to our first game together in the new season.
I'm so proud to be a part of this group and look forward to taking the field with you all.

...My dear Raiders team, tomorrow we go into baseball combat for the first time this year, and like all other coaches and players, I want to win, but it is not my driving force, and all consuming thing! Being on the field getting dirt in my cleats, and being on the field with the finest bunch of Amazon parrots in the world is! DEAREST RAIDERS-special attention from Coach Jenny
As all of you all already know, our time of combat on the baseball field is drawing near! I am not sure what to expect this year, we are a new team with a mix of veterans and rookies, and I am counting on the vets to help pull the rookies trough! Look to Maxie, our seasoned catcher, from the original Zon team and Sugar, and Ethyl, and Alfie, and Billy Jo and Caesar! All the rest are wing picked by me to be our new Raiders, these are all hard working and dedicated Amazon warriors who I am proud to have on our big team! I have changed a little my self, and I am not insistent that we win them all, but I want to let them know the Zons came to town to play ball! I have promised the Kommish, no slashed tires or drive by shootings this year, her and I have an uneasy peace, and I love her and want to keep it that way! I want us to walk onto Kevlar Field with our heads held high, and win or lose, I want us to walk off with our glorious Zon heads held equally high! I would go to bat for each and every one of you, with out even blinking, and you can take that to the bank!! In don't want excuses, I want results, if ya can't make it to a game, come a day ahead of time or a day after and leave the team best wishes, and or we'll get 'em next time! I am NOT the team, and neither are any of you, but together we make up the most powerful union ever conceived on the BC, WE ARE THE AMAZON RAIN FOREST RAIDERS, don't ever forget that...

It is almost baseball time again and I cannot wait. The cold weather is here and I want it to go away already and play some ball!
One more night till santa bird. I hope he brings me some new toys and yummy treats. (and I hope he has overlooked my bad bird biting times.)
