My mom got me a love bird when I was 6 years old, and he was the best bird ever...he lived to be 18 years old and sadly died about a month before my 24th birthday :( ...it was devastating losing him, but like my mother, I grew a special place in my heart for birds and knew I wanted to have another. I decided another love bird just wouldn't be the same, so I decided to take home the sweetest bright purple budgie.

Active within 199 Days Hi! My name is Digger I am a Budgerigar from Summerland, CA. Baby Bird, Diggy Bird :) 1 year old M Budgerigar Millet! I built him a little decorative play pen with a perch and he loves it. He also randomly loves sitting at the top of one of our reclining chairs in our living room for reasons I have yet to figure out... I'm thinking it's where he feels tallest ;) He could probably do without my 2 obnoxious dogs startling him all the time He will sit in the same spot (there are several in my house that he likes) for hours and be perfectly happy and content. I found this interesting because I've read that budgies are usually quite adventurous. .
