 Madame had just come home with us in September -- she is our first bird, and we are so blessed to have brought her into our hearts! We were lucky enough to meet her rescuer during an evening shift at Petco. Although we're not sure of her age, we know he's at least 3. Originally she was believed to be male, but for as sweet and quiet as she is, we've decided that it was most likely a mistake -- we learned that Cinnamon Pearl females are special, and can have bright beautiful cheeks just like males!
This sweet bird has come a long way, but our journey together is just beginning!. |

Hi! My name is Madame Truffles
I am a Cinnamon Mutation Cockatiel from West Palm Beach, FL.

Millet, birdie bread, and cooked rice... despite my name, I'm a very healthy lady!
 I love to sit as close to mum and dad's ears as possible -- although I'm a shy lady, I do my best to be heard!
 The spray bath! I hiss the moment it enters my domain... and if you ignore me, I'll sit in the corner with my back to you. Feel the guilt!
 They lets me sit on their shoulders while they work! I can peck at their ears all I want, and neither of them ever get mad at me.
 I copy kisses by grinding my beak together. I also like to scold every hand I see, yet I never fail to step up gently and preen my owners! I seem to be falling madly in love with my human dad....
