I love fresh strawberries and other fresh fruits.
 I love to hang on mom's head and shoulders, or the back of the couch. I spend a lot of time on my jungle gym as well.
 I don't like being removed from shoulders or heads, and I don't like fruity treats! Fresh only.
 What I love about Mom is that she doesn't get discouraged when I get a bit nippy, or run away when she tries to cuddle with me. She's very patient when it comes to me trusting her. She understands that it will take some time, and I'm 20 years old! Some of my previous owners haven't been consistent in my training, and at this point, I'm very set in my old ways. She still pampers me with treats and toys and love, and I'm slowly starting to come around.
 I like to sit on heads and attack anything that comes near me. I'll also tell mom when I've pooped, by yelling at my mess and running in the opposite direction..
 Don't touch me!.

Hi Remus--
Well, what I like is my good boy nuts. That's cashews and pistachios, especially, but almonds and peanuts and walnuts occasionally too. But I only get them when I've been a really good boy and I have to go back in my cage for awhile. Of course I like millet. I also want whatever my Mommies are eating...especially if it's pasta or rice. I'm not particularly fond of cold wet things, and I'm a bit water-phobic, tho I like being in the shower with the Moms as long as they don't get me too wet.I like my carrots and my broccoli which I get every morning....they're easier to eat now that Mom cuts them up really tiny.
It sounds like you weren't particularly well socialized, which is too bad. On the other hand, there really isn't such a thing as a "good parrotlet." Your Mommy needs to go to a website called www.commandobirdies.com and read the 11 demandments. It puts things in perspective.
Oh, there's another pair of P'lets on here you should probably meet--Pepper and Jamaica #221070. Just go up to the address box of your internet program and type that number in inplace of your number, then hit enter, and their page should pop up. They're younger than me, but they have lots of attitude. They live with a bunch of cockatiels, but they enjoy chasing them around.
