My husband saw an ad in the paper that she needed a new home. We went to see her. We spent about and hour with her and her current owner. I was able to get her to step up for me. We got in our car and talked about it on our way home. By the time we got home we had our decision. Three days later we became her forever home when she was three. She had been in two other homes before us.. Awards

  Hello Mateo
Willow and Saber here.

First from Willow~ Thank you for the compliment on my name. It's new to me, since this last spring when I joined this family. For the first eight years or so of my life I lived with two other Greys; a CAG and a TAG. When my dad could no longer care for me friends of the family took us three birds in but only with the idea of caring for us until someone else could be found to adopt us. When that didn't happen after several years, we were all taken to a parrot rescue in Iowa where within days all of us were picked out by new families. Lucky for me, I got to see my CAG brother at bird club meetings in the area since my new dad and Art's dad were both club members. Then my second dad developed health complications that required him to have to find homes for a number of his precious birdies, me included. Lucky for me (again), Art's dad offered me a home and so once again, I was living with my beloved "frother". (I'm not really related to him by blood.) Once again though, changes needed to be made and so I'm now living with the McFlock, a group I'd been getting to know in the past year because our families got together at each other's houses for visits in either the bird room or the outside aviary. Moving here was no big deal really, well a little, but definitely not like some of the other scary moves. Someday Art will move here, when time decides, so there'll be four Greys! We intend to keep things really interesting for mom. Thank you for your visit to my page.

And now from Saber. It's been greyt having Willow here. While I've had Kelly for company for years (she has a separate BC account), she and I never felt like being friends. When Willow moved in though, I liked her right away. I'm always trying to get her to come hang out on my cage and if she doesn't get the message, I invite myself over to hers. She doesn't always want my company so flies off to entertain herself somewhere else. Since I'm currently trimmed enough to keep me from flying after her, I have to either wait for her to come back to her cage or get down and hike off after her. I definitely get my exercise trying to keep up with the little gal.

Hope you've had an exciting day and that the week ahead looks like it's going to be a good one.

Come visit me, Saber & Arthur Alex of the McFlock.

  How nice
It's wonderful to be in loving home. I too am helping my little one to learn to fly after prior owners just about mutilated her wing feathers. Just molted out 3 long ones cut off ones last week. This was done when she was a baby, so
she had never experienced any flight. Little "Blue Sky" is now learning to fly high and will never be clipped again.

  Welcome to the BC, Mateo
It's greyt to have another CAG joining our big happy family here.

I'm happy to read that you've found your forever home and that you can now sell your suitcase! You won't be needing that anymore, right? Well, unless you go on vacation with the parronts sometime, I suppose. But at least there won't be anymore packing boxes. You're here to stay!

Happy Wednesday
