 Tweety was a rescue bird that had been at our local shelter, she had been adopted about 4 months ago and was just brought back into our shelter because her new people just didn't like the fact that she plucked, and Tweety didn't like the husband. So back she came. I was volunteering one day when she came back in and the same love and affection she had before was still there. She remembered me! Our local shelter was becoming crowded, so we offered to foster Tweety for them. Well Tweety was with us exactly 2 days and both of us said no way can this little girl be made to change homes again. She needed a forever home, and we needed her to be apart of our family. We are working real hard to get back what she had lost in her previous home, such as step up and some basic manners, but she is slowly coming back around. She probably will never be fully feathered again, but hey that's ok with us, because that little heart of hers, makes her a perfect birdie in our book!. |

Hi Tweety! I'm 10 yrs old too! I'm so glad you have a forever home! Your mom was so great to decide to keep you. I came to my mom as a foster bird, but after a few hours with me, she decided she would keep me! Hurray for us both!

Heres a vote cutie. I hope your having fun in your new home. Mom want to the breeders house this weekend and almost got a cockatoo who needed a new home.The only thing is that it attacks people it don't like. She cann't get him out of her head.But she has to think about everyone who lives here to.Don't want them to get hurt. How wonderful, your Mom is such a loving lady and I am sure you are very happy in your new forever home. Your Mom and Dad hopefully have stocked up on all your favorites.
