 We found each other at the Panthers football field.I was lost and all alone.Still a baby.My family found me and I found them.I was so scared I walked up to my big frother and and my mommy and my mommy picked me up.She fell in love with me.And she brought me to my home.I was so hungry and cold my mommy fed me and held me close to her all night long to keep me warm.I never would have made it by myself in the cold night.Im now with my family where Im loved and protected.We are so bonded.I am so happy to be part of the family I am meant to be with...Now Im as tough as nails heehee.... |

We're enjoying these 60s temps and sun as it doesn't feel cold during the day. Coldish at night and early morning.
Practice time is at 4pm for us in CA. We should be there. Time zone changes get us confused too. A long time ago the parronts went to Tennessee. The airport was in one time zone but when they drove to their destination it was in another. At least all of our state is in PST.
Yes, the veggie blends with the fruit is quite yummy. Good way to sneak in some veggies for those birds who balk at eating 'em. Our skinsis will blend some veggie/fruit juice with fresh and frozen fruit and protein power for a yummy smoothie. If there's plain yogurt will add a touch of that.

It sure was great to meet you yesterday at the Hatchday bash! Wowo! BOTD! I never ever imagined that would happen! And it is so wonderful that everyone was able to come back for even more fun and food and celebration! Jetta totally wiped me out with all the fun things to do at the Man Cave (formerly known as the Castle). I think I like the pinball games alot--or maybe it is all the noise and bright lights? In any case...thank YOU so much for making my Hatchday special, and for letting me experience the Castle. I have had a blast!!!! And I could not have done it without you.

Hi Panther
My mom takes way too many pills every day, but then she is really old. (Don't tell her I said that!) She still has pain, so your mom probably has it right. Some of my mom's pills are a no choice deal though, since she is a breast cancer survivor.
Well, I spent a very enjoyable afternoon at the Kevlar Stadium watching the Silver Sluggers bring it to the WonderWings. It was a very eggciting game. The WW were way ahead in the beginning, but the then the Sluggers turned on the juice and roared in to the lead and won in the end. Both teams played so well it was a pleasure to watch.
Mom is being very careful of her shoulder. She played hookey at Zumba both Wednesday and today. The next class is on Sunday, and she plans to go then. She is ice packing her shoulder on a regular basis to make it feel better. However the important part of this info is that she is staying home and spending more time with yours truly. Now that is a good deal!

DAY 21 ~ THANKS FOR THE VOTE!
DANIA’S VACATION TO LEBANON part 2
While we were heading to Lebanon the food service on the plane sucked because they were all packaged food. Plus they only gave us so little food so i was still hungry. It was hard for me to sleep on the plane because the seats were uncomfortable. The only good thing about the planes is that they had tv for me to watch. I took aircanada to get to london. When we arrived in london, we had to wait 3 hours for our next flight. After that we went into the customs then boarded the plane called bmi. When we arrived in Lebanon we went to get our luggage. When we got our luggage i noticed that one of our luggages was missing. We told one of the people that one of our luggages was missing so they wrote down our personal information. They told us that they would call us if they found the luggage. So as we were going outside, we met up with my cousins and my aunts. We were really happy to see them and it was an emotional moment because we haven't seen them in a long time. So we rode the queen taxi and headed to our apartment. While we were in the taxi the airport called my aunt and told her that they found our luggage. We headed back to the airport to get the luggage then went to the apartment. Hi, Panther.
Hopefully the 'tiel's family will be found, but they could possibly be homeless themselves. Probably lots of pets won't have a home to go to for awhile and hope there's a place they are being cared for.
We can't imagine how awful it must be for those lost pets not having their families.
Can't wait to try Tweety's new recipes and we hope he adds some veggies to 'em too. We are at the 'tiel practice field most mornings.

Hi Panther,
Mom is feeling lots better today, so I got my typist back. Not only did she do the ice pack thing on her shoulder a couple of times last night, but she had a session with a trainer at the gym today on working it out safely, and that helped too. So now she can type, which is what is important, right? And she said to tell your mom that hers is tendonitis also. She has had three surgeries (starting in 1975) on her right shoulder and one on the left, although the last one on the right side was a torn rotator cuff. Cortisone doesn't work for her either.
Oh, and Mom went to get her mammogram first thing this morning and an ultrasound too. She talked to the Radiologist about the ultrasound, and he said it looked good. She will have to wait a few days to find out the results on the mammo, but she's very optimistic since the ultrasound is the final word.
AND BIG NEWS. My mom has been trying to get me to say Mama for a couple of years, and the other night I did it! Of course, I haven't seen fit to repeat it, and can you blame me? I add a new word (a special one!) to my Hello and C'mon, and what does she want? She is now trying to get me to say Hello Mama! The nerve!

Yes, winning our opening game was the best feeling, especially after we figured out that our team had fallen behind. We arrived at the stadium early since mom knew she wouldn't be home when it started and then when she got home found that the game wasn't over yet. Okay, there will be days we won't make the game at all so we'll let you know when that'll be and we'll go with your flock.
Hopefully the pets of OK will be able to find their families. Poor 'tiel. Amazing to find since we are kinda small.
Think the Sharks play tonight and hope they play as well as the last game.

DAY 20 ~ THANKS FOR THE VOTE!
DANIA’S VACATION TO LEBANON part 1
Last year, in February 2012, my parents were discussing about my dad’s sister and his mom going to Lebanon to pay their sister insurance. My dad paid 1000$ every month to his sisters because his oldest sister had two grown children and their parents were divorced. In addition, the other sister who lived with them worked as a teacher and tried paying for the family. When I heard about it, I soon said I wanted to go to Lebanon too, to see my aunts, my cousin and family. My parents thought about it then, they decided that it would be my birthday present to go to Lebanon. I was glad but unfortunately I had to wait until end of March. I was usually impatient so I tried getting it out of my mind for a while. Then it was finally the day where me, my grandma and my aunt were heading to Lebanon. We sat at the airport where my dad worked, and went to a restaurant to have breakfast. Then it was time to say our goodbyes, I was leaving for two weeks and I was already crying, missing my parents. It was the first time I was gone that long from my parents and first time I was going on vacation during the school days. Furthermore, we boarded the plane and took off to head to Lebanon, Beirut. There's been a few times we were getting squawky (according to dad) and he tossed our cover over our birdhouse in an attempt to get us to be quiet. Like yours it doesn't really work, but mom'll push us into another room and shut the door and that keeps the sound at bay.
Gotta be careful being in the heat. It creeps up on ya. Have to drink lots of water and not be out in the sun for too long. It happened to our mom once. Now she mostly tries to stay inside if the temps are high.
Great game! We arrived in the middle just in time for Zippy's grand slam. Didn't know we had to come from behind.

Hey Panther! Wasn't today's game really something! I mean, here were those great big birds on the other team and us little guys end up taking home the WIN. I'm so proud of our team, I could just about do a back flip! ... and I'm not normally that acrobatic. You had some great plays out there on the field as well as with the bat. Want to thank you for batting me in home there in the top of 7th. Nice double you hit!
Looking forward to our playing together again next week when we meet up against the Rainforest Raiders. That should be one intense game, for sure. Here's hoping we can do the same sort of terrorizing we did today.

Congrats on a great game today. The Tiel Terrors are looking really good.
Mom says it is hotter in the Inland Empire than Simi, but only 5 degrees or so she thinks. We both get too much heat!
Well, this is going to be a short blog today, because Mom's shoulder is acting up again and it hurts to type. She got thru her training session and zumba at the gym Ok, but then when she got home it started to ache. She had massage therapy this afternoon, which should have helped. Not much improvement though. So this is it for today. Oh! I did get a sunbath.

Panther, good luck against the Hawks today-Jenny
...we are absolutely heart broken over the loss of life and property in Okalahoma! Devastation such as this puts life into perspective, and with that comes a realization of just how fragile and precious life really is! Regarding the Raiders loss, I was just one biscuit short at breakfast, and I would have hit a Grand slam to win our game, that won't happen again! On the upside we are all safe and moving forward, please give my love to all in your happy little home, see ya tomorrow...

Hi Panther
Well, we added the Kevlar stadium to our aviary to make it quicker to arrive at games. We will arrive early when most of our blogging is done and then try to get to the game late and if not then leave a blog afterwards. Looks like games will be spaced out a bit since there are so many teams so after today our next game isn't until next Wed.
Was it warm there yesterday? It was well into the 80s here, but supposed to cool back to the 70s for the rest of the week, whew!
When mom got home from work yesterday she looked in on us and found that dad forgot to uncover us!!! He said he got busy in the garage. Really? When he gets himself up all he has to do is whip our cover off, much like him crawling out from under his, right? Fortunately we had gotten a new food stick the night before and mom had also filled our bowls too and that's usually done in the morning. Harumph!

DAY 19 ~ THANKS FOR THE VOTE!

I discovered birdchannel from a friend at my school. I registered in September 2011 after I got Angel and Luigi. The only friend on birdchannel that I talked to was SKY. Everyday there would be new activities on birdchannel he would tell me. But I really didn’t know how to go to a milonga or the kissing booth. So that’s how I didn’t know how to meet other birdies. I met Sky when he first came on BC with the broken wings broken promises page. Angel’s page was changed to birdie zone and Luigi became DJ LUIGI. To be honest, Luigi leans more to singing with me and listening to sounds than learning other tricks. Luigi started making more birdie friends when Luigi started running for 500 votes to participate for bird of the month. The Miller flock is safe and sound .... that said ...
Yesterday was a very tragic day here in Oklahoma. Mom locked down for hours on the Air Force Base while Tornado ravaged the Moore area (just south of the base). We have many friends and Co-Workers without homes now. Civilian Co-Workers will have double whammy with the loss of loved ones and a triple whammy with the upcoming furloughs to start on July 8th. So far 91 is the confirmed dead count and its expected to rise as we have not located everybody yet. Praying for everybody affected ..... hoomans and animals alike

Let's focus on today's game and give the macaws a break. And yes, the bock, bock, bocks continue from Josh, aaaarrrgghhhh! Yesterday when mom came home from work she took him out for an inspection of the gardens. That big red turkey flew off her wrist. He didn't go far and landed on the lawn, but mom said that's the end of that. Next time out is with a harness. Let's try and get to Kevlar a little early today and get some practice in so we can conquer the toos! Hi Panther,
Well, we are not very far apart at all. I will definitely be your friend. Besides you are on the Tiel Terrors, and your Coach, Kacey, is the flock mate of my lovely wife, SweetPepper. So we have a lot in common. Mom got me outside for my sunbath at 9 this morning, and it is a good thing she did. We listened to the local news on the radio, and so she knew it was gonna be a hot one! It hit 93 at 1, and it is still 85 here at 3. Thank goodness it is supposed to only be in the mid 80s for a high tomorrow. I will still get out early though.
Mom let herself be shanghaied from the gym after zumba to be taken out to lunch. That sounds very nice I am sure, but she totally forgot about my ballgame! And Rosie did such a terrific job of calling it, and I played well and Mango's final catch was a nail biter. She missed the whole thing and had to read about it after the fact. And she promised! I am so mad at her I could bite~!

Well this is quite the mess...
Squawks Raffi! Raffi and Panther struggle to free themselves from the hair gel ball of birds! Panther slowly waddles over to the bath tub...as his feet are sticking to the floor. Raffi rolls the ball of birds towards the tub! In go the terrors as Raffi and Panther suds them up. The terrors are having fun throwing bubbles at each other. Suddenly they see Raffi and Panthet puff up their feathers.........uh oh...says Jedi.
