That was a great game! Your team played really well! Today mom herded cats! That's right, 2 kindergarten tours in dinosaur hall, with little ones going off in all directions! The chaperones were doing their best but kids get really excited there. Her third tour was with 5th grade, called Treasures of the Carnegie, which is basically a docent's choice tour, since the whole museum is a treasure trove.
Last night, mom worked an evening event in gems and minerals with a bunch of well to do adults at a wine tasting. It was fun, and right at the end, she ran into the president of the board of Animal Rescue League, the parent organization of the wildlife center. It was good to see him. He showed mom a spectacular picture of his blue and gold macaw. Mom may post it later.
The Pois pulled off a come from behind win yesterday, good for them. I was happy, but Willie, not so much. He really thought the Keets team would win. Both teams did a great job, though.
Hope you are having a good day, it's storming here. The storms started as soon as the game ended yesterday! Mom shut down the computer just in time. Our bird club meeting went really well and after Arthur settled down, he did okay also! He did a lot of growling, barking, and wolf whistles, crazy bird! We finally had a great day here today but my Mom was too busy to let us go outside and sit in the sunshine! She was too busy trying to pack for vacation tomorrow,they'll be leaving on Friday and won't be home til next Friday and the fid sitter came over late this afternoon to see what had to be done for all of us,and she's going to give me my meds and my cherry juice! Mom got all our food sorted in baggies for each day she'd be gone and put it all in little baskets tied to our cage sides! The fid sitter will also change my papers from inside my cage so I don't have to hurt my feet on the grate of the cage!
I'm going to miss you while I'll be gone and I can't wait to come and see you when my Mom and family get back home,it's going to be one long week for me!

You're so sweet! Tell your mommy not to worry. Mom knows other things come up or need to be taken care of. She says we will think about the basketball and let you know. All three of us are on baseball teams and she's feeling a little overwhelmed although it's fun. She's gonna have the grands for 10 days starting next week too.
It was lots of fun at the KB. It's so great Remy's got some new friends. Mom will try to remember and ask him to visit Jedi's page and maybe they can blog. Panther did an awesome job!!!
The beach sounds really wonderful, relaxing and a super suggestion. I could use some down time. I have my first baseball game tomorrow against the Greyt Grey Wings. Don't suppose you'd be able to watch me play, I'd love that! If you can't, wish me luck sweetie!

Basketball? That sounds intriguing. It was cold here for 2 days, with frost warnings at night, but today it's 82 degrees! Mom is hoping to plant those things she got last Friday, at last! I want to go to the game though, there are 2 good teams playing today.
This morning mom did a repeat of Monday, complete with raccoons painting themselves and their cages with food. The red tailed hawk stood between mom and its meal leftovers this morning, which she has never seen in all her years there. At noon she went to the museum to hear an assistant curator of vertebrate paleontology, Matt LaManna, talk about early birds from the Cretaceous, and learned a whole lot about our origins. It seems modern bird lines arose in Antarctica! It makes sense, the birds there were already used to harsh conditions and extended periods of dark. Anyway, it was a pretty cool lecture, and the docents might get a cast out of it! Mom asked Matt if they could have a cast of gansus for the dinosaur hall, and he said send him an email and he'd get one made!
