 I became fascinated with birds after I had tried to raise a baby sparrow I found in our yard. I knew I wanted a pet bird, and I wanted one that would be friendly and would like to be handled a lot. I did research and read about parakeets, and that they are friendly and easy to tame. I decided I most likely wanted a parakeet, and I went to a bird farm (Bracken Bird Farm in Redlands, California) to look at birds. I got Buddy, he was 2 1/2 months old at the time. He was very easy to tame, and he has become a great little friend!. |
