Hi Angel!
It looks like spring is finally going to arrive in Michigan! Yay!! We just saw our first Red-Winged blackbird. It looked like he had travelled a long distance, but he was happy to find the food Mom left at the bird feeder for him.
We had a fun birthday weekend last weekend for my bird-day. I got lots of chew toys and lots of my favorite treats like pears, corn, hard-boiled egg yolks. Mom even let me taste a little bit of my favorite -- butter pecan ice cream! I hadn't had that in a long time!! Thanks so much for all your bird-day wishes!

Just dropping in to say hi and leave you a vote. How's your weekend been? Nothing exciting going on here. The finches hatched some eggs a few weeks ago and the babies have come out of the nest. I have been watching them and imitating the little chirps they make. I can't figure out why their eggs hatch and mine never do. How are things in Texas? Every thing's good, here. It finally cooled off a little bit. We actually got some rain, too. Mama opened the windows in our room while it was raining and we all got a little crazy...and loud. I got a new toy a few days ago and I have already dismantled it. Mama keeps re-doing the knots and putting the beads back on, but they don't last long. It had a wooden bear, too. Now you can't recognize it as a bear. I love to chew wood! Nice puffy cheeks! My lovebird hated veggies, but after 2 months I got him to eat broccoli because I took small pieces off that looked like seeds to trick him....and they did taste good after all Peeps said! Now he tries most anything.Come visit me, Peeps.
