A gentlemen had Quincy and her "sister" Harley for about ten years. In that time Quincy was out of her cage less and less, because he did not know how to deal with her biting. I contacted by a friend who knew him and asked if I could adopt her and her sister because he was moving and did not want to take the birds. When I first saw Quincy she had plucked the top half of her body. After a little TLC and being out of her cage they have grown back and the plucking is minimal. Her previous owner was in no way abusive or malisious towards her, he simply did not understand all she needed.. |
