Australian King Parrot from Australia

Sparky is a baby Australian Red Capped Parrot (or Western King Parrot) that I bred, Tuki is his mum and can be seen in her own profile. Sparky was younger than 'his' siblings and Tuki being a first time mum wasn't looking after her youngest baby properly he was weak and we didn't think he would last through the day so he has been handreared from 4 days of age, we started him on Roudybush and Spark electrolytes which is how he got the name Sparky. He is such a cutie pie we have decided to keep him. We aren't sure of 'his' sex yet and are waiting for DNA results to arrive. Awards

  Sparkys Mum
Hi, I have a photo of his mum Tuki in her own profile. Red Caps or Western King Parrots are different from the standard Australian King Parrots and are far less common. The males are alot more colourful than the females getting a crimson red 'cap' on their heads.

Come visit me, Gracie, Sparky, Oliver, Rosie, Jasmine & Tuki.
