 Well he was in this privately owned pet store and he gets them from a breeder, and I went to go take a look and he said I have this cockatiel who has an awsome personality and is a pretty big cockatiel and I just couldn't resist and I got him. |

you're right
bubba has a behavioral problem due to how he was being treated before. he thinks he was being ignored and was doing it sorta for attention. i told the vet that now he's not picking anymore also that i have a conure that is in a cage next to him. the vet is pretty sure that's what he needed is attention. i also told him about the pellets i was giving him. he says to do that and put a drop of liquid multi-vitam in his dish every other day. thank you for your help.Come visit me, leon, bubba, casey & clarissa.

i did & i will,mutu
i already ordered the harrison pellets on line the first time you told me about then. most of the birds i have brought in have been mistreated on the outside. the previous owner of my late cockatiel,sonney. she said he chewed off some of his toes. i took him to my vet, come to find out a mouse did it. but i never new that, or that they could have a behavior problem. you see, bubba came from a home where the owner (in my opinion) didn't pay to much attention to him. she had a sheet that covered the top & 3 sides of the cage. now he's getting alot of attention in his new home. especially with casey, he's right next door to him in another cage. BUT along with giving him the pellets, i'm still taking him to my birds doctor. i will let you know what happen. again, thank youCome visit me, leon, bubba, casey & clarissa.

i ment what i said. when i got bubba from his previous owner,the owner said "bubba is 17 years old and he always picked out his feathers". i really don't believe it,but it's only information about him i have. he did look worse when i first brought him in my home. i am very sorry i made it look like sarcasam. but it's not,i love this bird alot, i will try anything that is SAFE to make him look and feel better.Come visit me, leon, bubba, casey & clarissa.
