you did a wonderful job on 1st base today, there were a few errant balls thrown your way but you caught them all. It was a tough game but we pulled it out.

Hope your dad had a nice Father's day yesterday, my dad did. He got a couple of phone calls from a couple of his kids and that made him happy. Mom took him out to dinner to one of their favorite Chinese restaurants and had a nice time.

Chloe started roaming the floor and now she was up on the top of her cage on her playtop tonight, a place she rarely goes unless she is along the edge tapping on the wall but tonight she was actually playing up there with one of her toys from your dad. Mom and dad just stared at her in shock, mom was happy to see her doing that.

Just stopping in to say Hello and that I am so looking forward to tomorrow's game. I have a good feeling about this one!!! I also want to be sure to wish your Dad a Happy Father's Day!! Our Dad's are the best and they deserve extra spoiling and special antics that make them laugh. I made sure to sing my very best and loudest whenever he was on the phone today...he loved it...I think!! I'm just disappointed that I missed Romeo's HatchDay---where did that year go anyway???? The parronts were visiting g'kids and the whole day was strangely filled with different events....They got home and were exhausted. I got to go to bird club with mommy yesterday. My friends seemed happy to see me, and I was happy to see them. I enjoyed being passed around. It was fun, until mommy had my nails and beak trimmed! I did not enjoy getting held down, and I broke a blood feather in the towel! When I was done, all I wanted to do was cuddle.

I am still terrified of my stand. Mommy tried to put Peatree on it so I could see another bird on it, but Pea was also terrified of it. AND we also found out that that the cockatoo that had it before us wouldn't use it either! Is it an evil stand? Grandpa is going to take the big colorful ladder and swing off of it, and see if that makes me less afraid of it.

We had wonderful sunny and dry weekend whoohoo. The folks were able to mow down the jungle, Daddy killed two snakes whilst weed eating. The folks don't like having piosonous snakes hanging around the house or the walkways .... scares mom cause she is afraid of stepping on one and getting bit. Hope all is well. Have a wonderful day. Mommy went to a bird show in Orlando yesterday. She came back with lots of stuff for me! I got three nice toys, three perches, some foot toys, and she also got a ton of toy parts to make toys for me. And I also got a playstand! But she didn't buy that. Somebody gave it to my Uncle Charlie to give to me. It's very big, but I'm a little afraid of it. So mommy put it by where I normally sit so I can get used to it. For herself, mommy found a wooden cockatoo cutout. She saw it and had to have it. When she got home, she painted it to look like me! She's upset she didn't buy more of them, because it was fun to paint!

Isn't it great we finally won a game! Angel Christy was watching over us for sure and helped with our home runs!
We finallymgot some rain, well, a lot of rain yesterday. It was torrential for hours! Filled the pool and flooded inside the house by the doors! Hehehe! It was nice to fall asleep to it. It was only the second rain since Oct. and now it's the rainy season here!
This afternoon mom has her english students from the village coming over for a pool party and to eat hot dogs and snacks. She is happy it isn't raining today. We will have about 40 kids over and of course me and the flock will be inside the house!

We are considered far North East Oklahoma City (about 20 miles from downtown OKC), straight east of Edmond, 11 1/2 miles. We have been getting lots of wind and rain but so far so good. We had some tree limbs down yesterday (from dead tree) but no big deal, they were away from the house and not a problem. It will require some cleanup before mom can mow again.

It looks like we have more potential bad weather today ... mom and dad do stay weather aware so it wont take them by surprise. Have a great day. Hugs.

I think mom is missing more games than she can attend SIGH. No mater what the Miller flock is there. This has been busy week. Dad had his procedure yesterday and all went well (other than daddy said he woke up during it and was mad). The Dr. found 3 polops and biopsied them ... he said they looked pre-cancerous. Daddy also had irritated tummy and Dr. increased gerd meds to help clear it up. No Joy in finding cause of daddys pain SIGH ... at least this was another item ruled out. Have a wonderful day. V4U. Your offer for a ride was so thoughtful! We missed warmups, but made it in time for that fast and exciting game! Phew! We thought we'd get those storms earlier, but the risky weather waited til the parronts had to pick up son flying in from Seattle...he's been delayed several hours..yikes! Everyone's doing good but this new pooch, Gracie, drives me nuts! well at least the lady who had to give her up gets to see her every week since she and Mom have become good friends as they visit her at the assisted living now! I've been with my momma and family for a month! I'm stepping up very nicely now, I haven't bitten in over two weeks, and I am being super sweet with mommy and grandma! I really surprised mommy yesterday. She was laying on a lounge chair out side on the porch, and I was sitting on her chest. I was being really sweet, besides letting he scritch me, I also let he rub my belly, under my wings, and my legs! And when she would stop scritching me, I would thump my beak on her chest and yell at her. hehe! She thought it was adorable! On Sunday, I got a shower with the hose! I LOVED it! Mommy didn’t seem to like it though, maybe that was because she was holding me while grandma sprinkled me with the water, and grandma sprayed mommy with the hose on full blast a few times. All I know is that she was NOT happy and all wet when my shower was over. Oh! Guess what! I have some pin feathers coming in on my chest! Mommy is so happy!

thank you for your visit. We have our game against the Keets on Thursday...are you ready?

My dad is going out of town for a day or so and he is leaving tomorrow morning around 6 am. His race motorcycle broke and he is taking it to a really good engine builder who has agreed to look at it. Dad is not sure what the problem is...the parronts are really hoping that it is not going to be too expensive to fix so keep your toes crossed for us. Dad might be home tomorrow but if it is an easy fix then dad will stay a couple more days if it is more complex then he will be home on Thursday. afternoon.

Our weekend was quiet...it was nice on Friday, wet on Saturday, nice on Sunday, wet again on Monday...

OKLAHOMA STRONG - WE WILL RISE.

Oklahomans helping Oklahomans .... we do what our hearts demand and that is helping our fellow man in any way we can. Mom gave money this year as the response for food, water and other relief items was already causing overload and relief units needed money. Daddy was really careful out helping and the younger folks were keeping an eye on him ... bless them. Daddy was very popular with all the needed tools to remove debris.

Unfortunately debris removal really is the easy part ... the long term recovery is the hardest. The folks have a friend who lost his house in 2010 and never has rebuilt ... he also has post traumatic stress syndrome and has never emotionally recovered, even with help. Gotta run.

Daddy was careful and took a lot of tools especially wire cutters (not daddys first tornado help). He was most popular guy there with all the needed tools. He was especially careful knowing he has limited mobility .. the other workers were watching out for him as well. Love my fellow Oklahomans coming together.

Well, another game this Thursday, the 30th, just might be the Season Breaker for us with our WIN!! I'm looking forward to it and am staying fine tuned with exercise! Mom also decided to back off on the amount of planting of flowers as that seems to be the one activity that makes her back scream...otherwise all goes well! It is what it is, so she paces herself like your dad does. I'm glad because our parronts are so much fun when they are feeling well...not so much when they don't if ya know what I mean!!! Wait...I do have to admit, when her back is acting up, she lets me sit with her in the recliner more....hmmm--hey, Mom---time to put some flowers in???? Naw...she'll be careful! What a change in weather we've had. It had been hot and sunny, now we are back to cold and rain again. Oddest year yet, but Momma Deb says it will be this way and worse in the future.
It looks like the smaller bird teams a going to give us bigger guys a real run for our money on the ball field. We are all playing at our best so the tables are going to turn and we'll be on a winning streak.
