Heya, Miss NIppy! Game tomorrow! Sure hope you are okay! Been awhile since we chatted, and I know I have been so bad at doing much on the BC other than the game postings... Tomorrow we have a game against the Quaker Little Dragons. Now, these Quaker Little Dragons seem to be a force of nature! They have won their last two games, and I heard they are out there doing some pretty darn good practices every day. The Quakers might be one of the biggest teams we need to beat and get ourselves back on track! Coach Calico and I are confident we will bring our A-Game tomorrow, and show those Quakers who they are messing with! We can reclaim our winning streak --and we will! Practice is an hour before the game. Get a good night's sleep, and stop by the Dragon Cave for some breakfast--Lizzie is ready and waiting to cook up something spectacular for us! I parrotsonally know that Coach Kacey has been keeping her team practicing, and they are a force to be reckoned with. So with that in mind, I want to say that no matter how good any team we play is, we are BETTER! We are the World Champion Pois'N'Dem, and we are gonna bring our A game tomorrow! So...we all get a good night's sleep, come over to the Dragon Cave for an energy inducing breakfast, maybe hop in the hot pool (like a hot tub) Lizzie installed after the last game. Heya, Nippy! Game tomorrow! I want you all to know that it is with a heavy heart that Ginger (#192450) and Co-Captain Calico’s ( #40642) fister, Lucky, has flown to the Rainbow Bridge early this morning. Please stop by Ginger and Calico’s page and let them know that the team supports them and knows how sad they must be. In honor of Lucky, we are playing our game tomorrow in her honor. I know it will be hard for Calico and Ginger to play tomorrow, but we all will need to be in top form and give it a little extra, so we can win this one for Lucky. Get a good night’s sleep, and stop over at the Dragon Cave for a good breakfast—Lizzie will be ready whenever you get there! Practice will be an hour before the game. Heya, Nippy! Game tomorrow! On Wednesday, we have game two of the season against the Kevlar Keets. Never underestimate the Keets--they are playing in the stadium that bears their name, and they are force to be reckoned with! Of course, both Co-Captain Calico and I know we have a team that is strong, and coming off our first win--so we are pretty confident that we can keep things on the winning side! Practice will be an hour before the game, so come early. Get a good night's rest, and eat a great breakfast, too! Lizzie will be providing snacks for us during the game, as she does all the time. And afterward we can get together at the Bar and Grill to kick back and relax! Go Pois! FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON Hi fellow Pois, It's Capatin Calico. Tomorrow, Monday, 12th is the first game of the 2013 Birdie Baseball Season and we're playing the first game, against theC-2 White Hawks. There will be a pre-game show at 2:30pm eastern time and the game will start at 3:00pm eastern time. I know we have not had a chance to practice as a team. Kaji and I have been swampped. Hey Nippy Since mom retired, we hardly ever see her! Mom had 3 tours this morning, and tonight she's taking Nghi's parents out to dinner. She's excited about it. They came here to be with Nghi's sister, who is expecting her first baby next month, but they came to Pittsburgh first. Mom will take them to a Thai restaurant for dinner tonight. Tomorrow she is going to an Earth Day event with animals from the center, the to dinner and the opera so we may not get on line at all. Mom says if she gets up early enough, we will though.
