Sunny's parents were stolen from my home and put up for sale on craig's list the next day. I wasn't able to get them back, but with patience, I did get sunny. But I had to pay for her.. Awards

Peach-Faced Lovebird

Brussels sprouts, the coleus plants (oops, don't tell mom)

Mom's shirt

Being left at home when mom leaves. Not being the only bird.

She loves me and raised me from 3 weeks old. I'm the 5th generation of lovebird for my mom

Squealing like I'm being picked on, when I'm not. I was a plucked baby and have always hated when someone ouches my back. otherwise, too early to tell, I'm just a baby of 10 weeks..

I'm a little sweetheart..

Sunny is just over 3 weeks in this pic. You can see her back is still plucked. Poor baby. She is almost fully feathered now. Only her rump is not as solid blue as it should be. Otherwise, she looks perfect.

Very cute bird. Also very young looking in this picture. Peach Faced lovebirds are a very attractive species of birds, while small, lots of fun in a home.
