My mom is jealous... she wants a catalina sooo bad. She loves me, dont get me wrong. But in 'addition' to me she wants a catalina. That is her dream!!! Daddy only wants one with feathers in our flock..so looking at birds like you may be as close as she gets!Heather, Chino Hills, CA.

Need a good screw up?
Funny thing, was just looking on a parrot site and they had these toy hook thingys they said were "bird proof". Sound like a challange for you? Thought so. It is a j-shaped metal rod that is threaded on the longer end. The toy goes over the hook, the hook goes between the cage bars, and the ball is screwed onto the threaded end. Ball is outside the cage. The ball turns with the toy but doesn't unscrew. Hope that helps, my P's got a skewer to put food and toys on and it was "Gar run teed" to be bird proof...should have kept the reciept on that one.
