 A friend of ours have given us some parakeets which I had when I was smaller and loved them, but never thought of getting a larger bird. We went and looked online at our local classifieds and found him, we thought long and hard and contacted the owner. She had to find him a new home because she was not home as often as she wanted to be for him. I stay home with our children so I am home except to run errands or be outside (which he goes out there with us). We fell inlove with him as soon as we saw his pictures. We drove over over 100 miles roundtrip to get him and bring him home.. |

Once our dad gets a bigger place (should be in a few months), he's hoping to get a larger bird to join our family. He hasn't quite decided what type yet. you are a lucky bird that you found so a nice family now.my mommy and daddy drove 3 hrs one way to get me from my breeder and we are happy since,mommy said she would go to the end of the world for me, yeah sure and then she says 14 hrs fly to germany were she is coming from its long,LOL
