 Wanted to have another female cockatiel. So contacted a breeder who had some very young birds and she had about 6 females.Sent me pictures of the different ones and I just fell in love with Princess. Told the breeder Princess would be the bird I would like to add to our flock. Picked her up the next day and she now is enjoying her life with all of us.. |

Ohhhh....is it hot in here? Whew! Heehee! I am really blushing! I am so happy we are friends! You are just the sweetest bird, pretty girl! And you say the nicest things to me!
Well we lost the game today but it was close..... and it was a lot of fun! Mom has trouble keeping track of who is in what team. Did your team play yet? Mom is trying to keep up...but with the company here it's a bit hard , but I have been able to get to all of the games so far even if I could only stay a short time!

my sweet precious twin Lutino!I only know that I will just be missing you ever sooo much!I will concentrate on you and sweet fister Cydney's warm wing hugs for me night and day and I will wait patiently in my cage til my Mom comes home so that I can once again visit with you! I am going to miss you something terrible! My Mom is going to be sooo worried about your sweet Mom and will be wondering how she is doing while she is away! I am having another good day today and have been drinking lots of cherry juice! Mom has to get me another bottle of it! I owe it all to you and your sweet fister Cydney for giving me all those wonderful warm comforting wing hugs hugs! I wake up in the night and the minute I feel any kind of pain I just think of the two of you and your warm wing hugs just envelope me and I can easily go back to sleep again! I am just sooo upset that I can't be with you everyday for a whole week as my Parronts are going to NH for vacation and we will be left in our cages for the fid sitter to care for us! I will miss you something terrible and not being able to talk to you everyday is making me sooo sad! They are leaving on Friday and I only have two more days to be able to talk to you and visit with you!My Mom will be worrying about your sweet Mom and if she's going to be all right while she's gone! Please tell your sweet Mom to take it easy and don't do anything to hurt her foot while we're away!I can almost feel Angel Cinnamon at night when I wake up,she is really there watching over me and I am sooo happy that she will be there when my Mom is gone all week! How awesome that your skin bro came Saturday night and surprised your sweet Mom for Mother's Day!She must've been sooo happy to see him there and have him stay with her the whole weekend too! My skin bro took my Mom and Nana out to breakfast for Mother's Day and then they all went to Nana's for some coffee and lemon crumb pie afterwards! Then Mom dug up some of Nana's ground cover from her lawn to bring back to our house so she could plant it right where our dad dug up the bushes by the mailbox,the ground cover has little purple flowers in it! You made my day by telling me that I'm a winner to you! I feel that I'm the winner to have won the love and caring of two beautiful twin Lutino fisters!We all here love your flock and family and your sweet Mom and will always care how your Mom is feeling and doing! my sweet precious twin Lutino girl! I don't think the weather guessers know what they're talking about!We were supposed to have rain since Thursday and it's been nothing but bright sunshine eggcept for the rain we've had at night! We had another warm day here with the bright sunshine and now they're telling us that it's going to rain tomorrow and Sunday! My Mom was hoping to get some laundry out on the line on Sunday! You are right,my Nana is getting cataract surgery!I just can't thank you enough for all the warm wing hugs and prayers that both you and Cydney keep sending me non stop 24/7!I just know its because of you that I'm doing so well!My Mom and flock and I just love you and your flock and family more than you can imagine!I am sooo pleased that you like how I look on Midnight Lute!As long as I have you by my side,I'm sure I'll do great! I don't like those dreary days all in a row either and to not be able to hear the sights and sounds outside is kind of depressing too! My Mom was gone all day today.She took Nana to the eye drs and Nana is scheduled for laser surgery next month! My Mom will be taking her across the Bridge to the place where she will have it done and there's just so much to do before you can even get the surgery done,lots of paperwork to fill out,meds to take,etc! I had another good day today because of you and your sweet twin Lutino Cydney!Whenever I wake up and I'm hurting I just have to feel your warm wing hugs holding me close and I can start to feel better!I want to win the Derby for you and Cydney and just to have you there cheering me on is more than I could wish for!I have been taking Midnight Lute out and practicing with him and being very careful not to hurt my leg and foot!My sweet Princess you and your sweet fister Cydney and flock and family are what makes me a winner! my sweet precious Lutino twin! I had another good day today and my mom took me and the rest of my flock outside to get some sunshine and another shower! We didn't get outside til after 2:30 in the afternoon again and after two hours it got really hot so she brought us all back inside! We got a cool drink and a snack! Your constant warm wing hugs have been a lifesaver for me,and if I could only tell you just how much I love you,more than anything in the whole world for never leaving me,you and your sweet twin Cydney! Whenever I'm hurting all I have to do is close my eyes and feel the warmth of both you and Cydney's warm wings wrapped around me ever so tightly and comfortingly to my sore legs and feet! I sleep the night good because of you two! Poor Sam,my Mom knows all about those night frights and my frothers Mario who looks just like you and Cydney and Peepers a normal gray tiel have some pretty bad ones with blood going all over the cage! Our humidifier has a large night light on it so we can see pretty good in the dark now!Stormy sounds like a sweet little tiel like you and Cydney are! You've got such an awesome Mom to be quick to stop the bleeding! My Mom always has flour ready for any of our bleeding catastrophes! I got to share dinner with my Dad tonight and had some corn and turkey from his dish!And I even ate my full breakfast of bean mix this morning when Mom served it to me! My Sweet Princess I just don't know what I'd ever do without you to bring me the sunshine everyday! You always put a smile on my beak and give me the courage to face the day!My Mom and me and the whole flock will always send our prayers to your sweet Mom for healing peace and we'll always worry and care about her!We will always be here for you no matter what!We all love you,your sweet flock and awesome Mom more than you can know! I wouldn't have any fun if you weren't there at NTT with me! You make it sooo much fun for me! I'm having a good day today and have been eating everything that my Mom gave me today and I've been steadily drinking my cherry juice and my Mom has been taking me and my frothers and fisters outside to sit in the warm sunshine and has been giving us all showers too! My Mom keeps saying the same thing also,that it would be so wonderful to be able to be closer to you and your flock and family! Thank you for the birthday wishes for my mom. Her birthday is actually next Saturday.....but tomorrow starts her Birthday Week! She starts celebrating tomorrow! Such a silly mom!
Oh I promised mom I would not nip her or poop on her on her birthday! She told me she appreciate that!
Well my mom certainly doesn't have a green thumb. Once...when we lived in CT mom tried to plant a small garden in out back yard. The carrots came out like tooth picks! Sounds like you mom doesn't have good luck with growing things either! The patio garden that my parronts planted were already growing...not seeds!
We are so excited to watch the Kentucky Derby! Mom and dad made some snacks....and I can't wait to get my beak into they yummies!

Every time I think of you and your sweet twin Lutino fister Cydney and your warm wing hugs,it makes me feel soo warm inside and I don't feel the pain as much!When I sleep at night,all I have to do is dream of my two sweet Lutino twins and feel your warm hugs and I can sleep in peace the whole night through!I just don't know how to thank you all for all the prayers and warm wing hugs you constantly send my way! Oh it really bugs mom when BC messes up! Especially when we write a long blog and it disappears....or you get squawked!
Oh...I will be a real sweetheart for my mom on her birthday! Yes I will! I will not poop on her or nip her ........heehee!
Yeah....my mom tries so hard with plants and flowers. Last year my parronts actually planted seeds for their patio garden. Well...it was not very fruitful. Marigolds mom said it was because of the extremely hot weather we had.

Oh...computer problems are just awful. Mom is the one who fixes the computer problems here....and she was frustrated that she couldn't fix it. But ...so far today.......all is quiet in computer land ! Heehee!
Yeah, I can't wait until my moms birthday! It's going to be so much fun...and I am going to be soooo good........well maybe I will.......can't say for sure but I will try to be really good....and show off for all of the company!
My mom isn't good at growing things so I have my toes crossed for our patio garden. We will be happy if it survives! It looks so pretty!

My foot was really hurting and when Mom tried to do my nails she had to twist my toes upwards as they were all bent sideways in order to clip them without making me bleed!I kept thinking of being held in you and Cydney's warm wing hugs the whole time to make the pain less strong!Mom is just waiting for the deck to warm up a bit more before she takes us all outside,it's a nice sunny day here again but a bit cooler than yesterday! Dixie feels the warm wing hugs all around him and knows that Princess and her sweet loving flock had left him there for him! He is sooo happy to get them as his foot was giving him lots of pain today. My Mom took me out in our deck cage and gave us all a shower so we could dry off in the sunshine! The warm sun felt really good on me and when I woke up and felt your warm wing hugs I started feeling much better! My Mom and I just can't thank you all enough for all the prayers you are sending my way!I just don't know what I'd ever do without being able to have the comforting peace of your warmth and love for me! If you only knew just how much I love you! Because of you I can get through this pain I'm feeling and I seem to be having more better days than bad ones!All I have to do is think of you and your sweet warm hugs and it really helps me get through the day! I'm going to try and play baseball and be a jockey this year! My Mom was so happy to see that I was eating my herb salad that she got me to help with the pain! My Mom tried to lower my perches so I wouldn't fall but all I did was hang on the bars of my cage,so she had to put them all back up again!You always bring the sunshine into my life and every time I think of you I feel sooo much better! My Mom and I sure can understand what that's all about having to travel a great distance to get something done and then having to stay there and do some things in that area instead of going all the way back again! I can imagine just how tired your sweet Mom was from the long day she had and then having to come home and having to take care of you and your fisters and frothers and Shelby and getting dinner ready too! My Mom really understands what that's like for sure,she does it always on Wednesdays and Fridays when she goes out and comes home late!Our prayers for your sweet Mom are in stronger force than ever before,we want her to be able to be on her feet with no more pain,and we are praying the surgery will come soon so she can start healing faster! I had such a great time at Cydney's celebration and my flock just loved her sooo much and you too! Oh Princess,you weren't kidding you did treat me like a King with that awesome comfy recliner and having someone there to wait on me was so awesome! Shelby must have really looked sooo awesome with those pretty blue bows and she must have been sooo proud of herself all dressed up and wearing that scarf too!You're soo right about those bows not staying in for too long,as soon as they shake their heads the bows go flying off!Why can't people be like us and love one another and not be judgemental or revengeful over one another!You are so right about how we'll never know.The swelling on my leg has gone down a little bit more and I can start to stand a little bit better,though I have a hard time balancing myself on a smooth perching surface still!Princess if you only knew just how much those wonderful warm wing hugs you send to me everyday mean to me! Being wrapped in your loving warm wings gives me the courage to keep fighting and to keep eating the foods I'm supposed to eat!Your prayers that you keep sending my way I can really start to feel something from them now and along with those sweet winghugs of yours wrapped around me tightly I can only get better much faster!My Mom and I are sooo worried about your sweet Mom and can't wait to hear what the results are when your sweet Mom gets back from the Podiatrist!I'm so glad your Dad has her resting her feet til she gets to go to her appointment! We will always be concerned for your sweet Mom,we just can't bear to see her hurting like that on a daily basis! We too are sending her all our love and prayers that she will get some relief and right away!We love you both Princess,and always will and only want your Mom and you to enjoy your days without being in any kind of pain!We are waiting for the day when your Mom can go for a walk with your Dad and Shelby and come home smiling because she had no pain!

Hi Princess
So senseless to bomb a marathon...Here in Pittsburgh the marathon is in May, and they said on the news last night that instead of dropping out, more people are trying to sign up for the event! What a spirit, and to see the generous and caring people who ran towards, not away from the victims, it was heartwarming. We are still convinced that there are more good people than bad in the world.
Mom finally got to care for the silver foxes again today! Of course, she was happy that staff took care of them throughout the winter months, it meant no trekking over snow and ice to clean and feed them. She also did the rabies vector room this morning, where the new fox kits are being taken care of, as well as a raccoon family and some bats. Staff was feeding the bats, so she just had to clean there. That was a relief, too, because it's surprising how much bats eat! They're as bad as birds, heehee. Mom's friend is bringing Indian food for dinner tonight, so mom doesn't have to cook. Hope you are having a good spring day today.
