Mom has been in contact with three foster moms to learn about their birds. One is a pionus, one is a nanday conure and the other a sun conure. All three sound like really nice birds, but mom needs to meet them and see which one clicks. She really hopes the bird chooses HER!

Mackie won her first game today - but you've probably already heard about it, huh? Anyway, she's pretty jazzed.
Yup, heard it was overcast heading South. Skinsis lives in Bakersfield (at least for a couple more months) and said it was overcast there too.
We're hoping for a quiet weekend cuz next week, come Wednesday, the grands arrive for 10 days. Good bye mommy and blog time, hello mayhem! lol

I think it's kinda nice your dad can take a nap while he's blogging. Mom would love to be able to do that, she doesn't sleep well too often.
It was 71 degrees here today, but if we had to choose between 97 or 79, we'll take 79 anyday!

I've been missing you! Did I forget to blog? I'm so sorry. I have to blame it on mom, although I know she does her best not to forget anybirdy.
How is everything? My team played Remy's today and we got beat, yes, 15-9, wow. The little keets did a darn good job. I just made sure I embarrassed Remy in front of every birdy by giving him a big hug on the field! Ha!

Today it was hard to get to BC earlier. Tomorrow we will be celebrating my hatchday #10. Mommy bought a cake for me. It will be a busy day for us tomorrow. Mommy has been working 5am to 12:30 during the last week. The weather is in the 80's range here. See you next week.

So Bourke is doing his homework, eh? That's great, no doubt he'll be stellar by opening day.
Good to know you are not getting smoke from the fires. We actually got some of it here from the northern ca fires and it's a little disconcerting as we live on a hillside. Just wanted to be sure they weren't close by.
We also got a very little bit of rain. It has cooled down and it's more like spring now.

So, Mac and I agree on this one (and we don't agree on much), we think you would do a great job with the play by play, go for it! Is dad having fun?
Mackie had her first practice in the stadium today. She hit a home run! I'm jealous. I haven't heard from my coach and I'm anxious to play. Oh well, probably hear soon.

Hope your dad is able to get his ammo next visit.
Mom got buried with busyness and so we lost our typist for a couple days. Now, we are very behind and playing catch up. Seems every time she tries to take care of our blogging, she gets interrupted and then is even further behind.
Anyway, we are having a lovely day, a bit breezy but temps should only reach low to mid 80's and the sun has finally come out after being a bit overcast earlier in the day. And we're back in the blogosphere, ha!

Good morning. We will be blogging Tuesdays instead of Wednesday because the parront now has something to do on Wednesdays. It has been raining lately. The airport is slow. She only works 25 hours a week now. Oki and I have been free more time however when she is at home she is doing household shores. She is always busy. Oki and I spent most of the time preening our feathers.

On Saturday, Dad took care of replacing some of the deck stairs and reapplying the stain. It's been sitting all winter because, he said, it was still raining. Since it was 93 degrees today and almost as hot over the weekend, he ran out excuses. The big excitement this morning was the scorpion dad found in the hallway. Luckily, the dog who loves to eat spiders didn't get close enough to get stung, but she was headed for it.

Hey Emmie, oh yes, the lovely Socal air. Mom knows about that, often visited and only preferred the air conditioning because she could breath better and not have to worry about asthma. Now, in Norcal, the air is better, but the pollen is the pits. Guess that's the way it goes.

Well, that's nice you don't mind riding in the car. We don't like it. Mackie especially. In fact, she would start to shake the minute she heard the carrying cages come out and then, as I said, she would scream the entire trip. To be groomed on top of that - well, that was the ultimate trauma. That's when I got to be drama queen and make my goose noise.

Yes, we used to hate the groomer too but mom found a mobile groomer lady and we kinda like her. Plus, we no longer have the trauma of having to be loaded up into the car. Mom likes that better too. Mackie screamed the whole way there.

Today is Wednesday, our blogging day. There is no more overtime available for now. The parront only works straight time 5-10AM. She keeps herself doing household shores and running errands on the streets. We just get a little more time off the cage compared to when she used to work overtime. We spend Easter in jail heee. Oh yes, fortune cookies are very crunchy and we like that, plus they taste a little bit like almonds and we like those a lot too. Remy didn't care too much for them, but he really enjoyed his little bit of egg this morning and we loved ours. Is it a bit weird that we eat eggs and really like them?
