 I was looking for a new Conure. I searched for months. I didn't want to buy a bird site unseen since I believe the bird picks thier owner...not the other way around. I came across an on-line ad for a 2 year old Cockatoo. Though I resisted - I just couldn't get him off my mind. I finally contacted the owner. We talked for a long time and I decided to go see him. Well - Georgie picked me right away. Within 10 minutes he was clicking at me and on my arm. I still wasn't sure that I was ready for a too - so I went home and read all the horror stories from all the websites.
Another month went by - I looked at other parrots, but couldn't stop looking at the picture of the little white fluff ball.
On Jan. 1, 2013, Georgie came to his third - and final - home.. |
