Today is Wednesday, our blogging day. It seems the overtime is over for now. Its slow at the airport. The parront is only working straight time, 5-10AM. The weather is getting warmer. Oki and I now spend a little more time out of our cages heeee. See you next week.

Hi Charlie
You sound like Falco with the baths! I like getting spritzed, then bathing in my water dish! Mom did a tour with second graders yesterday, and it was fun: they went to Charlie and Kiwi's Evolutionary adventure, then to Polar World and part of American Indians. The hour flew by! Then she got the rest of the groceries for Easter dinner. This morning she made the dough for Easter Bread, and later she'll make a hard custard that the family calls Easter cheese. That one is pretty labor intensive, requires standing and stirring over a double boiler for what seems like hours! That's why they only see it at Easter, heehee. Tomorrow, mom will work the egg hunt at the museum, in bird hall, of all places. Wonder why they put her there, eh? Well, I hope you are having a good day, the temp here is around 40, so we're hopeful that spring will arrive someday soon. Mom remains energy challenged but doing her best to hang in there. We miss everybirdy and the loving energy that is so evident, even virtually! Hey I do the same thing with my baths! I always take a bath in my water dish after my mom Changs the paper on the bottom of my cage and vacuum the floor around my cage. I like to take a bath when I hear the vacuum too!

Hello and sorry for not flying by sooner
Hello and happy Spring break everyone. My Mommy is very busy because of Spring break. My little Sister and Brother are off for the week and she is busy chasing them around. So not much time for her to get on and blog for me.
I started my morning with a nice bath in my water bowl. I sort of upset my Mommy cause I did it about 5 minutes after she had cleaned my cage and the floor under it. Maybe I will wait a bit longer next time LOL.
I hope the Easter bunny hops by to visit you all this Sunday. Take care and I will try to get back on real soon.

Good afternoon birdies. Today the parront has been on the streets most of the time. Today the weather is cold, is in the 60 range. We have been in cage confinement most of the time. The parront actually wants to have more free time but that seems never to happen to her. She works too much and is tired. Meanwhile Oki and I are in jail bored heee

Mom is very low on energy trying to deal with a sinus infection, antibiotics, fibro, cfs, etc...Please forgive her while she tries to heal and regain what little energy she was maintaining.
We think about all y'all every day, love you and miss you mucho. In a few days, we hope to have out typist back to her "normal-for-her" self.

Good to hear from you. The National Weather Service guessers were in Pittsburgh yesterday and said spring would get here the 2nd week of APRIL!!! We are so tired of winter!
Does anyone out there want the Bird Talk Annual? Mom ordered it once with her points, then she ordered Birds USA with her points, but they (finally) sent another Bird Talk. Since she's already read it, she is willing to mail a pristine edition to anyone who wants it, with a bonus of one or 2 Parrots magazines that she has finished reading.

Happy it's Friday
I am so happy it's Friday today. Yesterday was soooo busy for my Mommy. I was able to enjoy some of the yummy pot roast she made yesterday.
Today I enjoyed licking some of her frozen yogurt. She had vanilla. I got a new tou in my cage and I really like it. It's a rubber jack from a jacks set from my human sister and brother. I will try to fly by and say hello to all who have come to visit me and vote for all my birdie buddies too. Love to all you pretty birds.

I never say this but my whole flock votes for every bird we visit each day. If I forget to mention it again, just know you have our vote all the time! We saw a little new snow this morning, but it's going to stay cold all day long. Where is spring? Mom did 2 museum tours this morning, both with a large 6th grade group from Erie, PA. They had about a 3 hour drive to get to the museum, and were spending the day. She hopes they love the museum and the tours. Her second group was all boys, and they had some great questions and observations about the dinosaurs as well as the polar world exhibits. Hope you are having a great day and better weather than we are. What a nice day today
This morning I had alot of fun with my Mommy as she cleaned my cage. I found out that I really like it when she whistles Justin Timberlake's new song. I was dancing as she whistled while she worked.
Mommy made pizza for dinner and of course saved me a piece of pizza crust. "Yum".
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's are my Mommy's busiest days of the week. She is busy driving my human little Sister and Brother to their swimming and gymnastics lessons.

Your thanks are welcome.Today is Wednesday. The parront works a lot of overtime during the week. On her days off she run errands and do household shores. Oki and I spend most of the time in jail. We still don't get along. Mommy would be very happy if we would mate so we would accompany each other. Its raining here but the weather is in the 70 range. Where's spring? Today it was cold once again, but at least no snow fell. Mom had a usual shift at the center, doing the raptors and the runs, where the turkey, duck, raven, and crow are living right now. The vultures decided to go outside while mom was cleaning, so she let them out, but had to leave their door open so they could come back in. That made the whole room cold! The furnace guys are coming today to replace the bad parts. Mom bought this furnace in 2009, you'd think it could last longer than 4 years. At least the parts were still under warranty. Well, I hope you are having a taste of spring where you live, and that you are having a good day with lots of mom/dad time, too.
