 A friend of mine who volunteers with a city dog rescue received a phone call from a woman who adopted and fostered dogs from them. She was looking to rehome her Citron-crested Cockatoo. My friend contacted me because she knew I was looking for a Cockatoo. I met Angie and knew we were a match. The woman was rehoming her because she didn't have enough time for her. I am home all day. I have only had her 2 months but things are going very well.. |

Hi Angie!
I am pleased to report that I haven't bitten momma in over a week! We have been trying to work on my stepping up, but I'm still not great. I REFUSE to step off or out of my cage. I will only step up when I am away from my cage. Grandpa bought the Bird Tricks training DVDs, so mommy is using those to help. I really like going outside, I will step up really nicely out there.
I really like being scritched. If mom or grandma stop, I shake my chain to ask them to come back. But I am not allowing mommy to scritch me at the moment, because her nails are a very scary red and yellow color. She promised to take the color off for me today.

Thank you for stopping by to visit me! It's nice to meet another citron. :) I read that you don't like it when your parronts leave the room, do you try and call them back? That's what I do. :P I whimper like a puppy and talk and blow kisses to try and get them to come back.
