I bought Shamrock from a breeder at a bird show. I was originally going for an Indian Ringneck but fell in love with my sweet baby! He was right at 5 weeks old when I got him!.

  Hi Shamrock
Shamrock is an unusual name. I've got a female Shamrock Macaw that they originally called Shamrock at the bird store. Eventually her name was shortened to Shammy. Later an employee from Jamaica added to that to make the name Shammy Miami. Because of here poor disposition the name was modified to Queen Shammy Miami. The store closed and the owner made Shammy a gift to me. Now it's just Shammy and she is very sweet and loving. Sometimes we refer to Shammy as Sham-Sham too. At a recent street festival Shammy made the newspaper as the only Shamrock Macaw there on St Patrick's Day. I'm sure that you and Shamrock can have fun with that name too.

Come visit me, Zeus (RIP), Augie, Picasso, Shammy & Major.
