I would see Jennifer from Texas Tail Feathers at bird fairs and admire her beautiful pink birds.

I did some research and found that people thought that Bourke's were boring birds. They were supposed to just sit and stare at you. Yuk!

I just couldn't get past how much I wanted one of those pink birds!! So I called Jennifer and talked to her. I found out that they are not boring at all. I told her I wanted one.

Jennifer had a batch of 3 Rosey Bourke's for me to choose from. One of the birds was considered a rainbow because of the many colors it had.

The day came that the birds were weaned and I had to pick out my bird. She had been sending me pictures all along, but I wanted the bird to pick me.

I ended up with the Rainbow and then found out that they had picked her for me all along. It was meant to be..

She loves me and so does everyone in the house. Everyone wants to take me out and let me ride on their shoulder.
