  Hi Teal'c
Well, that mean old mommy went off to the gym again this morning. And the nerve of her, after a tough workout with Talyah she should have been too tired for zumba, but oh no! She stayed for 50 minutes today, and even she admits that last dance was probably one too many. However since that means she is all pooped out and only has the energy to sit with me, I guess it works for me.

We had a fruit smoothie for lunch, and I drank so much I had to shake the extra off my beak. Now since I was sitting on Mom's shoulder, she got smoothie on her face. Guess she didn't like it much because she wiped it off. I thought it might be nice for her complexion! Just a giver, that's me. Have to say it sure beat the Ensure she had for breakfast; I didn't want to share that at all.

Don't forget the rescheduled Prom Milonga is tomorrow night, so you will want to clear your calendar for sure!!

  Hi Teal'c
Well, I had one shot at a sun bath today, and that was if I cooperated at 8:45 when Mom tried to get me into my outside carrier. I didn't, and by 9:15 it was already 80 outside and heating up quickly. So doomed to stay inside again today. (We hit 94 today, and since it's cloudy it is kinda muggy.)

Mom left for the gym at 10:15 and didn't get home until 12:45. Now that is just too long. I think this whole thing of working out with her trainer and then doing zumba (even if she only lasted 45 minutes) is cutting into time that belongs to me! Somebirdy please tell her to straighten up!

As soon as she was done with her (cool) shower she came in for Kiddo time, so that was good. And then after a little while she went and made a fruit smoothie for us to share. She would let me help, but that blender scares the tailfeathers off of me! I do like the smoothies though. Very tasty!

After that Mom decided to fix my toy that I had chewed the bell off of (the best part!). Unfortunately I thought she was stealing my toy, and I bit her really hard on the spot between her thumb and first finger. Apparently that spot really hurts when you bite it, so Mom took my toy and left. Hey! Anyway she did bring it back after it was fixed, so I guess we forgive each other.

  Hi Teal'c
Mom has had a smart phone for over 6 months, and still doesn't know how to do anything more than make phone calls on it. Her friend told her to go to the AT&T store and get a tutorial on how to use all the bells and whistles, but she hasn't managed to do that yet.

Well, the high today was 87, and by the time Mom got home from the gym that is what the temperature was. Too hot for a sunbath, as I eggspected. Tomorrow the next warm up begins with a high of 96, so Mom will get me outside before they go grocery shopping at 10. Then we are back to looking at 100 for Sunday and Monday. Sure do wish they would make up their minds, but frankly 99 or 100, either way it is just too darned hot.

Panther's mom, Aunt Staci, is home from the hospital!! Mom had a nice long chat with her today, and she is sounding much better. Funny thing was she couldn't remember talking to Mom while she was in the hospital, but then she was very weak from blood loss. They have moved her treatments for cancer up to the local hospital, since the trip to San Diego would just be too much. That is very good news.

Didn't get a fruit smoothie for lunch, in fact Mom never ate lunch at all. She said she wasn't hungry. Now I ask you, do you need to be hungry to drink a smoothie? What about what I want!?? She never even asked me!

Don't forget that the milonga is tomorrow night!! If you want to find out who our Prom Queen and King and the royal court are, you need to be there. Details are on the Calendar Page and the Milonga Page.

  Hi Teal'c
We don't have Netflix, because we don't have a Smart TV and are pretty sure there is no way to stream to our TV. Mom has Amazon Prime, but she doesn't like trying to watch movies on the puter, because it gets tiresome sitting there that long...although she sits nearly that long to blog for me. Silly Mom.

We are showing a high of 105 today, and overnight it is only supposed to cool down to 73. Now I don't really call that cooling down at all. And although this is the hottest day of the week, tomorrow is going to hit 95. When Mom left for the gym this morning at 9:30 it was already too hot to even think about a sunbath, and tomorrow probably won't be much better. Hopefully Wednesday really will be a high of 88 like they are predicting, which will mean an early sunbath would work.

Mom did her session with her new trainer, Talyah, at the gym and then did 30 minutes of zumba. She could have lasted longer in zumba, but the teacher was a sub that Mom doesn't like. If she had found out in time she would have left before class started. Instead she told her that her shoulder meant she could only do 30 minutes; naughty mommy told a fib!

She took a cool shower when she got home and then came in to visit with me. After a bit we fixed a ribeye steak and corn burrito for lunch. Mom went to put sour cream on the tortilla, but Dad had turned it into onion dip!! She decided that just might taste good, so that is what we had. I ate a nice little cube of steak and lots of corn.

  Hi Teal'c
Mom will keep her eyes peeled (Oh, doesn't that sound yucky!) for any sci fi on TV. Meanwhile she and Dad plan on renting the DVD of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies even though Mom hates zombies. It looks funny, so Mom thinks she can handle it.

I got out at 9:25 for my sunbath because it was already hot (85). We only stayed out for 20 minutes because Mom was getting too warm even in the shade and I was climbing all over the inside of my carrier, which Mom takes to mean I am not a happy camper. Depending on the website you look at tomorrow should hit anywhere from 93-99, and Monday now ranges from 100-106 with a "cool down" to 99 on Tuesday. Regardless of the site they all are just too darned hot!

Mom and Dad did the grocery run, and although there weren't a lot of sugar snap peas in the bin they were nice ones (perhaps why there were so few of them!). Mom managed to find 21 for my three per day breakfast. She also picked up blueberries for a deep dish pie, but then forgot to get a lemon. She will get one when she goes to the library. I do like pie! On the way home they stopped at the roadside stand for cherries and got their last bag of Bings. Delicious according to Mom, but I turn my beak up at them.

  Hi Teal'c
Well, no sunbath today because by the time Mom got home from the gym it was already too hot. She pulled in at 11:40, and it was already 87 degrees. I don't like it that hot, but we will get out early tomorrow before grocery shopping since it should be even warmer! And they are now saying Monday will hit 107! Everyday they up the temp for Monday. Can anybirdy say Too Hot?!!

Mom talked to Aunt Staci again last night for a few minutes, but she was very tired and they only chatted for a few minutes. She called her as soon as she got home from the gym, but Staci said she would have to call back and hasn't yet. So all Mom knows is she is still in the hospital. The few words they exchanged she sounded stronger though. Keep sending her healing thoughts, OK.?

With the up and down of the BC the last couple of days, anybirdy who has been unable to vote in the Prom Contest can vote however many days you were locked out. So get on over to the milonga page and get caught up!

Mom is waiting for UPS to arrive, since they tried to deliver a rock for Dad yesterday and showed up right when Mom was in the shower...of course! And that's right, I said a rock. It weighs more than 7 pounds and costs $25.00. He can't wait to get it into his rock saw to make slabs, cabs and other stuff. Mom's favorite way to get his attention is to yell, "Look! A rock!!" LOL

  Hi Teal'c
Dad watched season one of Wayward Pines when they had a marathon one weekend, but he heard season two wasn't as good so he is not bothering either. Right now there doesn't seem to be any goo Sci Fi on TV.

Well, finally I got my sunbath. Today's high is 75 degrees, and it was about that when we got outside at noon. I made it clear I wanted to go by climbing into my carrier all by myself, so Mom took the hint and out we went. It was very nice, but we only stayed out there for half an hour because it was lunch time.

We had the other three Lean Cuisine spring rolls (they come two servings to a box), and we both enjoyed them very much. Of course, now I have to put up with Mom calling me yummy breath...I guess that is not really so bad though.

And glory be! I am behaving still and therefore climbing all over Mom while she blogs. We will see how long that lasts, but so far I am being a very good boy. Perhaps it is because Mom has been taking me with her while she made her Chai tea and heating lunch. She gives a little and I give a little. Or maybe I am just a good boy....nah!

After a delightful sunbath at 11:15 (yes, it is warmer earlier) with lots of sidewalk traffic to admire me and no hawks to scare me, I got a chicken thigh bone from Mom's lunch.

Now I am just flying around the BC to remind everybirdy that the Derby Milonga is tonight, and the bugle call from BooBoo and Rider's Up from Picabo is at 8:15 EDT so don't be late!!

  Hi Teal'c
Oh yeah, Mom and Dad didn't think Hunters really worked either.

I am having a pretty good day. Mom is still not ready to try zumba yet, so she stayed home all day with me. We had a nice half roast beef and provolone sandwich for lunch, which I helped my mom make. She was going to do a wrap, but I was velcroed to her shoulder and the tortillas she has now get heated up in the Teflon pan. Not gonna use that around me, so it was sandwich time instead...which meant no spinach! I am not as dumb as I look!

Unfortunately that was followed by a time out in my cage with the door closed and locked (very unusual)!! You see, Mom decided to update my favorite toys since they were pretty chewed up, but it appeared to me that she was stealing naturally I attacked her ear to make her stop. Not sure if I had a time out, or Mom was just making sure I couldn't get to her ear. Anyway I have two "new" toys now, and I might deign to play with them before the day is over.

Then after trying everything she could think of to get me into my carrier, Mom gave up. So of course then I was quite contented to let her pick me up and put me inside. We had a nice sunbath even though it was pretty cloudy; it was still mid 70s and comfy out there. We stayed out till the wind started blowing. I do not like wind!! And just to make sure Mom knows who is in charge I played in my carrier for a while after we came in.

  Hi Teal'c
Well, Mom tried watching Wayward Pines when it was first on last season and couldn't get into it. Another one was Wynona Earp, the new show on Syfy: not so greyt. Mom really liked The Magicians though. If you have Net Flix and haven't seen it, check it out.

Well, Mom went to the gym this morning, and this time she wasn't back home in 15 minutes! Yep, she made it thru the warm up just fine, so Becky said she was ready for a session. Of course, then she made it a balance work out rather than anything more strenuous, but Mom still got a bit sweaty. They chatted between sets so Mom wouldn't get too worn out as well. Becky said she needs to be careful till she builds herself back up, so Mom didn't stay for zumba. She is thinking she will try it on Wednesday afternoon though.

And yay!! I got a sun bath today! It got up to 74 today, and since Mom got me outside right at noon it was warm but not too hot at all. We both sat in the sun for 30 minutes, but then I got antsy so we went back inside. Oh! And I climbed right into my carrier to go out there with no argument.

Mom was so pleased with me that she shared a hot pastrami and provolone on rye (or half of one anyway) for lunch, and then we had a peanut butter cookie for a treat afterwards. I sure do love those things! Yum!!

  Hi Teal'c
That is eggxactly the conclusion that Mom came to on the X-Files. She is eggspecting a spin off with those two new agents. Unfortunately she is not sure what she thought of them. We will see.

Well, it is still chilly here today with temps in the low 60s, so I will not be getting outside. At least the wind died down. Yesterday was not only cold, but the wind started howling in the afternoon and rattling the windows. I don't like that much, but since Mom stayed with me most of the time I was feeling OK. I crawl under the towel she puts over her legs to protect her pants, and I feel safe snuggled up in there.

Today Mom goes to the GI doc to get the results of the Bravo test. That was the box (aka plastic bling per Dad) she wore around her neck for 5 days and wouldn't let me chew. She was supposed to find out a week ago, but the results were not back yet. No idea where we go from here. The meds are working OK most of the time, but she was off them after the surgery almost 2 years ago and thought that was supposed to be permanent.

We shared the last of Dad's chicken, rice and broccoli concoction for lunch. Mom had to laugh, because he told her last night to have it for lunch today because it wasn't enough for him and might not even be enough for her. She could barely finish it. Good thing she had me to help with the chicken and rice. Needless to say I didn't touch that nasty, green broccoli!

Please don't forget to vote for Kacey and Mikey on their wedding page #229611 and keep Aunt Teri and Uncle Chuck in your thoughts and prayers for fast healing and recovery.

  Hi Teal'c
Yes, Mom would love to see that article on Pois. Send it on over.

Mom is right there with your mom about the Walking Dead, and my dad is right there with your dad. Mom reads while Dad watches. Her latest is going back and re-reading Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson series. It has werewolves (mostly good) and vampires (mostly bad) and fae (mixed good, but mostly bad) and Mercy the main character is a coyote shifter. Very well written. There are 9 or 10 books in the series and they are chronological. Most libraries should have them. And the X-Files was OK, but Mom was a little disappointed. Kind of left things feeling incomplete.

Mom went to the gym this morning, and Becky really worked her hard. She was sweating even before she got into zumba, and so no surprise that she only lasted 45 minutes. She did have fun though.

Then when she came home I was quiet and she figured I was napping so showered first. Then when she came into my room with her wet hair, I really enjoyed preening it. Something about just washed hair that is the best.

No sunbath today because there is no sun. It is totally clouded over here, and it only got up to 67 today. However by Wednesday warm weather will be back, and I will definitely be out there working on my tan!

  Hi Teal'c
SamIAm did enter the pic of he and Miranda in the pic contest. It is a really cute one.

Well, it is only getting up to 64 here today, and upper 60s tomorrow so no sunbaths. We did get .31" of rain, which brings up to 59.5% or normal. So we still need lots more rain. Mom got the full spectrum light set up again yesterday, and it will be used today and tomorrow too. Then on Saturday we are supposed to hit lower 70s, so I just might get outside.

Mom has already canceled her session at the gym for tomorrow, although yesterday with Becky went OK. She came home right after working out (no zumba), and Becky watched over her and they only did lower body. She still got very tired out, so she is taking it easy for the rest of the week.

Voting is done in the Valentine Pic Contest, and the winners will be announced at the Milonga this Saturday. It was very close, and I am pleased to say every single pic got voted for.

  Hi Teal'c
Mom did see the X-Files episode last night, and she and Dad both commented it was like the old light-hearted shows they had every so often in the original series. They both enjoyed it a lot.

Yes, there is a Friends and Family category for group pics, so you can put as many of your flock in as you like and Mom too!

Well, it is only 59 degrees outside at noon, so there definitely be no sunbath for me today. Mom skipped zumba, because she has a headache and that loud music would just make it worse. Works for me.

However I am in lockdown at the moment, because Mom made the mistake of hiding her library book under my towels, and I dug under there and found it. It is still readable, but she definitely can't return it like that. She called the library, and they will accept a new replacement copy. Mom found it on Amazon Prime for $2.75 cheaper than cover price so she bought it. Better for her, and actually better for the library because they don't have to order a new copy and wait for it.

Mom will be sharing her Lemongrass Chicken lunch with me, and that is one of my favorites. In addition Dad is cooking up a pork in green sauce burrito mixture that will be ready much later today. Sounds like a good eats day to me.

Interest in the pic contest for the Valentine's Milonga is off to a greyt start. Remember there are four different categories, so there is bound to be one for everybirdy. Can't wait to see who signed up on the Milonga Page #165848 today!

  Hi Teal'c
Mom and Dad watched the premiere episode of X-Files On Demand last night, and Mom set it up to do a series recording of the rest of the episodes so she won't miss any. Looks like there are only six more episodes if the note on the screen was right, but hopefully they will make more if the ratings are good.

Well, it sure is chilly here today. Although the sun is shining, it is only 56 degrees out there. Way too cold for a sun bath, so the full spectrum lamp is on. However we are expecting a warm up on Sunday, and I should be soaking up the rays then.

Meanwhile I got Mom as soon as she got home from the gym, but I was still annoyed at her for leaving so I nipped her neck. It was just a little pinch, but it made her spill her chai latte on her neck. She was not pleased with me, since it was iced latte. Oh well, at least she stayed with me while she heated up my room enough to turn off the heater while she showered. Since there were no further nips, I think I am good with her now.

Congrats to our new BOTM, King Jedi!! He looks mighty brave in front of that haunted castle, but it so works with the campaign he ran. Now this month we are all voting for Laka, and I am just waiting to see what her campaign will be.

Check out either the Calendar Page or the Milonga Page for an update on this month's milonga and the nifty pic contest. There is a category for everybirdy.

  Hi Teal'c
Thank you, thank you, thank you! It is on Fox, and Mom checked: the premiere is available on demand, so they will watch it tonight or tomorrow night. Yahoo!!

Well, Dad read my blog about charging for the ponytail rides, and he had the nerve to declare that any revenue from such would go to him! How rude! So I have cancelled that idea for now.

However I did have a very nice day. After Mom got home from the gym about noon, we went right outside for a sunbath. I was a little miffed because I was tricked into my carrier. Mom was in my room for just a minute, and Dad stuck his head in the door so of course I flew to Mom's knee to protect her. She then plucked me up and plopped me into the carrier. Again, how rude! I did get a tiny piece of a tater chip out of the deal though. And it was just beautiful outside; we hit 75 today! And the gopher has apparently moved on, since Mom really drowned his burrow watering Ms Gardenia Tree yesterday and he didn't rebuild it. Hurray!

Then we shared a plate of chicken gumbo for lunch. Life just doesn't get much better than this. I am a very contented birdy today. Although I did scream at some people who had the nerve to walk on my sidewalk; that they were rude goes without saying!!

  Hi Teal'c
The X-Files are back? Tell me more. Mom doesn't know about it, and she wants to know. What network or cable channel? Yikes! Hope it is available On Demand!!

I got a sunbath today!! The temps got all the way up to the mid 70s, and although I totally was not cooperating Mom finally lured me into my outdoor carrier with a combination of a nutriberry and my bell in a ball toy. I climbed in there to get that ball and throw it out, and Mom shut the lid on me! Sneaky mom, but once we got outside I was fine with it. However when Mom went over to give Ms Gardenia Tree a drink, she was horrified to discover a gopher hole right next to her. She called Dad which I didn't like, but he took a look and promised to put a trap out. They don't want to use poison, because we have a gopher-hunting neighborhood cat they call Marmalade (she's an orange tabby), and they wouldn't want her to get into any poison. Speaking of Marmalade, she came in to our driveway (about 30 feet from where I was in my carrier) and was looking at me. Dad chased her away though.

Oh! I got two ponytail rides from Dad last night. He was less than thrilled, but he shouldn't have come that far into my room, and then he lost a slipper in his first escape and instead of having Mom toss it out to him he came back in after it. Foolish, wasn't it? Needless to say I made the most out of both opportunities. I am thinking of selling ponytail rides, but I can't decide on a price for them.

  Hi Teal'c
Sure wish the new insurance cards would come in the mail so Dad could make an appointment with the kidney doc. We don't dare do it till we know the new insurance is in effect and will pay. The out patient dialysis is necessary, so we just have to cross our toesies and hope that is covered either by the old or new. The timing of this whole thing could not have been worse. At least Dad is feeling lots better, but he is hoping the doc will say no more dialysis is needed. It is sooooo boring!!

Dad did feel good enough to drive up to Jack in the Box and use the coupons that came in the mail for their new Onion/Cheddar buttery Jack. Mom and Dad really liked it, and I give it two talons up! Mom wouldn't let me have any of the onions, but the burger and roll were really tasty and I love any kind of cheese.

Mom is planning on baking her protein oatmeal cookies this afternoon, so although it means time away from me the reward is worth it. I do enjoy me a cookie, and I can have as much as I want of those because they are healthy. Yum!

Still too chilly for a sunbath (61), and they are calling for rain tomorrow. Ms Gardenia Tree will love it and the roses, but me....not so much. Nothing above 70 degrees in sight. **sigh**

  Hi Teal'c
Well, Mom spoke to Aunt Staci again today, and she is still in the hospital, but a better one. (All prayers and good wishes gratefully accepted.) This means Tweety has no one to blog for him, and we are all missing out on some wonderful Acoma Pueblo tales. So let's hope she gets to come home soon, and no more terrible things happen to her. Please go to Tweety's page and vote for him every day anyway.

I wasn't able to blog yesterday, because my gypsy mom was out roaming around all day. First it was grocery run with Dad (it was customer appreciation day and Mom won a free bag of groceries! No birdy stuff in there though.) Then after sharing lunch with me which was just the leftover salad from Friday Mom took off for that dumb old play at the local theater. Well, it was a melodrama based on the old TV series The Loveboat, and although it was pretty silly it was fun. The rest of the season should be much better though: On Golden Pond and The Addams Family Musical! Mom is pretty eggcited about those. I am pretty eggcited that they are all happening next year. That's like forever in birdy time.

And today I lost Mom to the gym in the morning, but after she got home I got a nice long visit. Then she talked to Aunt Staci for a while, and I got another visit. Then she made her famous (only at our house) Chicken and Sausage Gumbo. I love the stuff, so I am looking forward to dinner. It is all done and just "melding" now.

  Hi Teal'c
OK! I will take Charlie and let Taz know that Doo is a walk on for the Pilgrims. Since Charlie is a soccer enthusiast, I think Running Back is the spot for him.

The football teams for the big game are picked, and now we just need to finalize the positions they will be playing. I have my first version done, but I want to fine tune it a bit before posting them. The names on both teams are up on the Milonga page #165848 now though.

I got lots of mom time this morning, since Mom not only woke up early but doesn't leave for zumba until 11:45. She was super pleased to see her old friend Megan at zumba, and now that she has moved back people will once again think Megan is Mom's daughter. Since Megan is very pretty, Mom loves it!

When she got home and showered she found out Aunt Staci called while she was in the shower. She is in the hospital today having a procedure done so Mom can't call her back. She is very sorry she missed her, but at least she can let everybirdy know Tweety will be back blogging tomorrow. Please don't forget to vote for him today. Isn't his campaign fascinating?

Still too windy here to go outside, and tomorrow Mom is going to the playhouse to see a live production. It is a melodrama which is not Mom's favorite, but with season's tickets you take it all and some are better than others. However I think she should just stay home with me, good bad or indifferent! That does mean she probably will not be blogging for me tomorrow either, since she and Dad do the grocery run in the morning. So don't worry if you do not hear from me tomorrow.

  Hi Teal'c
OK, so Moggie is signed up too. Anybirdy else in your flock want to play? The sign ups have slowed up, and we still have room for more.

It is chilly here again with a high of 66 and only 69 tomorrow. Mom has actually been having to run the heater in my room during the day. For a long time I didn't even need it overnight. So the electric bill will go up again, but Mom says it is worth it to keep me warm. They haven't bothered to light the pilot on the furnace yet, since it is supposed to be back in the 70s by the weekend. My room stays warm, and this is the most important thing. Mom just puts on a sweatshirt and jacket.

Mom says this is soup weather, so we had soup again for lunch today. It was Chicken and Dumplings, but Mom says the dumplings were more like gnocchi. When she makes dumplings they are like savory drop biscuits on top of the soup. These were tasty though, and I liked it. Mom added some of her Cajun seasoning to spice it up a bit too.

Meanwhile it is the dreaded Wednesday, which means Mom leaves for the gym at 3:15 and doesn't get home till 6:15 which is now dark! She will turn on my light before she leaves, and I get her as soon as she gets home till bedtime. It is Jolene for zumba tonight, so unless her shoulder is really giving her fits she will stay for the whole class. Darn it!

  Hi Teal'c
Yes!! We got a little rain last night. Mom heard it coming down around 7PM while she and Dad were watching Big Bang Theory reruns (their evening shared activity), and then this morning the sidewalks were wet. However the high here today is only 67, so I will not be getting outside for a sunbath. Probably no sunbath will happen tomorrow either, but it is supposed to be back in the 70s by the weekend which is normal November weather for here.

Mom took off in Gloria at 7:45 this morning (right in the middle of MY time) to deliver her to the car doc. They thought they could come up with some sort of covering for the antenna if they looked at it again. They brought her right back home, so she was only gone for 45 minutes, but then at 10:30 they called to say they had found something called a shark's fin that would work and since it is made by Audi would fit for sure. So they came back and got Mom and Gloria came home. The part won't be in for another week or so.

All that means no zumba for Mom today, and more mom time for yours truly. We shared a bowl of chicken chipotle corn chowder for lunch, and I have to say it was very tasty. Several unidentifiable ingredients that I liked a lot. I think one of them was a bean, but the other...who knows? It just tasted good to me!

  Hi Teal'c
All of the girls are signed up for cheerleading, and I put you and Elvis down for football. If another one of your flock would like to play we have room for one more. Trying not to have more than three from any one flock.

  Hi Teal'c
Dot is doing very good. the biggest problem mom has with him is he ttries to hold his ear flat so mom can't get the drop of medicine in. that really isn't any big deal and so much easier than the battles of before. he is peeing and pooping in his litter box and doesn't even mind now if mom is in the room and sees him do it. his appetite is good and he is alert and interested in what is gong on around him. mom is on the last injection so she will cll the vet on monday and ask if she should continue . she doesn't see any reason not to continue but that is up to the vet

mom went out to dinner last night with Aunt Arlene and Aunt Robin and had a lovely time with them. the weather is getting colder and there might be snow flurries tonight so mom spent the day bringing in the houseplants. the colder weather had begun damaging some of them but most of them were ok. she hopes the colder weather got a lot of the bugs off of them before she brought them in. the shock of coming inside will cause them to lose most of their leaves for now but once they adjust they will grow new ones although the deer have been munching on a few and didn't have many leaves left anyway. she puts a lot of them in the garage where they will get the morning light but some o them go in the family room where they get very little light but seem to do ok as long as she doesn't water them very much. so far the old furnace is working and we will be getting the new furnace sometime next week. hope you had a wonderful day.

love Cori .

  Flitzer Saturday
Happy Saturday.
The wind has grown colder this week. We're getting our first slushy-snow this weekend in Buffalo, NY. You know it won't be our last.
= = =
Dad, Uncle Geno and Uncle JJ went to see "Sicario" this week. Very well-made film. Very dark and distubing tale of drug cartels - would not recommend if you're seeking light entertainment.

= = =
I guess we'll be getting new windows in the apartment...but the window company has not told Dad when to be home so they can measure for new windows. If they won't let him know - he won't be home when they stop by.... Don't you love the Communication of some businesses. I don't know how they make money.
I certainly won't let them in if Dad isn't home - but I will Squawk loud enough to scare them away.

Hope you have a wonderful day.

  Hi Teal'c
Yeah, Mom and Dad will probably end up not watching the Haven episodes unless there is absolutely nothing else recorded. It is kind of a Sci Fi desert right now.

Well, I got a sunbath this morning, but once again there was no dignity involved. Since it is once again cooler (high of 80!) Mom waited until I was sitting in her lap around 11, and then just picked me up and plopped me in the carrier. Mom noticed I was playing with both of the toys in my carrier while we were out there, which I don't normally do, so she did a check of my favorite toy when we came back in. Sure enough I had destroyed it, so she reconstructed it one more time. Works for me!!

Then Mom got out that nasty sucking machine, and I really don't like it when she does. As soon as she was done, she had to take a shower because it is muggy here (supposed rain in the forecast, but all we have is moist air) and Mom was dripping. She spent some time with me after that, but then it was off to the library. At least Gloria didn't get a bath today (both the library and the car wash being at the other end of town) in case that rain ever does show up.

We shared a pork sandwich for lunch, and I liked it so much I tried to take it away from Mom. Didn't work, but I did get a very nice share of it. Yum!
