 My mom and dad found me in a pet store where I did not have adequate food, water or toys. I also didn't like my cagemate too much. I was already 2 yrs. old. I am very bonded to my daddy and I love to kiss him. I went through a sad time when my birdie sister (who I taught to say "pretty birdie") died of a liver disorder. I started plucking my feathers. The vets tried to help me, but I kept picking. My mom and dad love me even without my feathers (which won't grow back now).. |

it's me, aunt teddi! yes, you sure are daddy's girl and that's a good thing. you are very loved. i used to have a bird just like you named Thomasina. she gave me kisses for a couple years and then went to heaven too soon. she is up there playing with Little One i heard. do you remember Rosie? she plucked all of her feathers out on her neck and belly. it made me love her even more. one day she gave me a neat present, she laid an egg in my hand! it was warm. hey, maybe i will see you next month....i hope so..love, your friend foreverteddi, Silver Lakes, CA.
