A friend of ours knew we had birds and that I liked keeping them so he asked if we would take up a cockatiel from his grandpa. He was already quite old when we got him and set in his ways. He tolerated me more or less but in general didn't seem to care much about interacting with humans. Him and Anoki the budgie became good friends though.

He died November 2013 of old age. Even though he wasn't too friendly he was still a good bird.
