SENDING SAD FEATHERED HUGS
To CoCo's Mommy. I was reading Baby's blogs and saw your name. I came to your page to find out about CoCo and what happend to him. I am SOOO sad for you. I pray that somehow he'll come back. Did you put an ad in the paper? Did you make fliers with his picture on it and pass them around your neighborhood? Is there a particular bird or pet store where you shop? You could post a flier there, too. I'm asking these things because about 3 months ago, one of my neighbor's parrots flew out the door. After 6 days, someone who had one of his fliers with the bird's pic, called him and said she had found his bird and he got it back! So do continue to leave his cage outside and as high up as you can put it, and pass out those fliers if you haven't already done so. If someone has him, and they don't know you've lost him, they wouldn't know where to return him. I'm sure you've thought of all these things, but I'm just trying to be helpful in case you haven't. I hope and pray so much that you'll get him back. I know how much our birds mean to us. I can't even imagine how terrible I would feel if one of mine were lost. I did have one of my birds die 2 yrs. ago and it almost broke my heart. Sending hugs and prayers for you and CoCo. Real nice to hear from you. You are right about letting go and let God do it for my family and for us all. I've finally got moved and all. That's a miracle in it's self. I heard a rumor today from one of my new neighbors. I call it rumor, because, my neighbor does not like the cat that scared Co Co...... If what he said to me is true then all of our prayers for Co Co to come back home have been heard by that angel that watches over the little birdies... And their loved ones. US! I had just emptied my pushey cart when My neighbor said to me that his friend saw Co Co in the neighbors trees. If that is true then I know that my child is just wild and hasn't been around humans. I put his cage in the back yard hoping he will go there. But there's still a problem with that darned cat!!!!!! I relax a little knowing that Co Co is more intelligent. And if the sighting is true I know that he is trying to get home. My hope is that my child keeps on living. Post more of your pictures, Babe. We love you and like looking at you. (smiles)

wow, this has got to be the worst time in a while for your mommy. God bless her and make her greif go away real soon. It wont be easy to just let this go--with it being such a part of both of your lives. coco misses mom just as much but birds will adapt and do quite well. lets pray coco is in the hands of the right folks that will do her right. someone that will love and care for him the way you have. they may not know where to even look for the family. please dont picture coco in hostage someplace, . picture coco the way you know him. happy and free as a bird.I cant get the situation off my mind today.it would have to be be one of the hardest times to adapt to the fact of not knowing where he is. be strong, my freind. this situation is in Gods hands and you have no control so they are right about saying to let it go. thats really all you can do.
maybe someday once time passes you can get another like coco. it was surprizing to us when we got a 2nd quacker (after the first one died) how much it really can replace the greif in a certain kind of way.nothing could totally replace our first buster brown (that was his name) altho we named the secont one the same and he almost acted like he knew what we needed and gave it to us about a year later.
God bless you and I pray everyday to help hopefully lighten your burden of all this that has so suddenly changed your life. someday soon that empty spot will find a way of mending. I know it dont seem much possible right now

I can't believe CoCo left you. I know my Mommy and Daddy would be crying for days. Mommy the worst. She opens her heart to every single thing in this world, and then when something happens, she cries and cries. We all will be thinking of you, even my room mates Gizzy and TJ... I hope you are feeling abit better as we speak. you and coco have steady been on my mind through the past 2 days where I never had a chance to reply.I realize the freind you had in coco, as we share the same with our baby.just know as loving as coco is that he will perhaps touch someone else the way he has touched you. words cant describe the sympathy I am feeling for you, for only you can feel the real pain. pleae feel better soon, and know God will take care of coco inn his own way and that sometimes we dont understand but things happen for reasons beyond what we can ever find out.

totally upset, my freind. my heart goes out to you!!I just had this happen to a greencheck named cricket last week. I sold several birds and she was special but I have been to sick to care for them. a friend of the fellows who purchased them (I had for years)opened up the cage the 4 of them were in and she was gone in an instant. i know how ya feel I stayed there 2 days trying to catch her. she stayed one hole day in a tree trying to come back to us, but by morning we never saw her again. let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do or say to take away the hurt. my email is sassibeeebeee@yahoo.com if you need to talk!

Oh ok. well hope you find a good place. Sounds like you are ready to get out of there, AND you do not like the sun? Oh yeah. Well here it's called the sunshine state and it is that sunny almost everyday no place to hide from the sun except in the shade :) YUP I love the sun but mommy is careful in summer to make sure we are not in it too long. It's a very hot sun down here. AND YEAH I LOVE shredding boxes, it's my favorite pass time. Oh yeah I must of had boxes before in other homes cause when mommy gave me one I went right to it not afraid at all. Zazoo was afraid for about 1/2hour but then he went to his. You know my mommy has moved So many times and she still was just as nervous when she did have to look for another place. It's very normal to be feeling that way. I am sure will find a place. We know what you mean about the house. We live in our own house. 3 bedrooms. Landlords are a pain. Mom has been through that before and will never do it again. We got very lucky when Mom met our dad he already had the house and he took mom and us in knowing how many we were. We love our Dad!! Good luck on the house hunting hope you find a nice one... Humans!!, don't they know they can't live good until they live with one of us?

Mom says she would be honored to be your God Mother. We understand totally about being cage free and having lots of toys to destroy. We have toy boxes full of toys we can destroy and we do. Mom has to get us new ones all the time. Mom also has night lights on in our rooms too because she is afraid if we have a night fright we won't be able to see our way in the dark and could get really hurt. She feeds us real well too. Lots of fresh foods, really good seed and nuts and pellets when she thinks we have missed them enough that we won't throw them out. We are not crazy about pellets but will eat them off and on.
We are very loud but Mom says she likes the noise because it tells her we are ok and active and happy. She would worry more if we didn't fuss. Well, I better go Mom just served breakfast and I want to eat before my Amazon brothers and sister grab mine. We all have our own bowls but they always have to see if I have something better. OH yeah hee hee well me too I would do them things too if I had access to it hhee which is why mommy has our wings trimmed and she had to put plexiglass all around the bottom of my cage so I could not climb down to the floor. And them cage skirts do not work , I got passed them hahahhaha so she took them off. OH NO we are So sorry to hear about the housing problems and my mommy feels the same way for all us pets here too she said she will pitch a tent in the woods before she gives us up. We do own our home but if we would find ourselves homeless she would never live without us either. They love us like that too. That's true , and my mommy would do anything to keep us. Hope the situation gets better for you. Move to Florida it's alot cheaper and mommy says she can survive here in the woods with us with no winters. She and Zazoo use to live in Massachusetts 5 years ago. Oh Thank Goodness!! Mom and I are really happy that your Mom will be ok. Mom says she would be honored to be your God Mother. You are really pretty and so sweet. Mom says she loves to have us all together like this because it's closer to being free and then being in a cage all the time. We get people food everyday too. Mom gave us a veggie birdie bread today for breakfast. We eat our seed and we get our pellets too. We are not too crazy about the pellets so Mom only gives them to us a few times a month. She mixes them in with our seed. We pick them out and throw them most of the time but she keeps trying. She hides them in our birdie bread too sometimes so we will east them. All the stuff we won't eat fresh she puts in our bread so it tastes better like Kale..Yuck!!
Do you like Kale? I really like Almonds. Mom gets us Almonds and oh what a treat for us. She can't give them to us all the time because they are so fattening and we Amazons have to watch our weight. I think your going to be with your Mom for a very long time and not have to worry about her being sick. At least she loves you enough to make plans for you just in case that time comes. Mom did the same thing with us. It's always good to have a plan.
