You're so cute and I'm glad you found your Forever Home. Some People are so stupid to buy a Pet to match their decor!!!! Anyway, my name is Oz and I'm a Rose Breasted Cockatoo. Mommy is my 3rd owner and she says that I'm now in my Forever Home. I'm glad cause I really like it here. But Mom also wants to know if I know that I'm a Cockatoo cause I'm sweet and very quiet. I feel bad that you were neglected like that. People don't understand that we like to chew on stuff. I chewed up all the buttons on the remote control and my mom just laughed. I chewed up a 20 dollar bill and my mom just laughed. I used to chew on electrically wires, but my mom give me a spanking with a rolled up peice of paper because she told me I could get hurt and she had to make sure I don't do that anymore, and now I don't. I have a big cage, but I'm never hardly in there. My mom used to put me in there at night while she was at work, but now she leaves the door open and I go there whenever I want.Come visit me, Poncho, Co Co & POPCORN.

So glad you have a new home and people who care about you. I was adopted also and it is great. You can get away with more because your humans love you so much and feel so bad about what you went through in the past. I have a cockatoo brother and mom always tells him "you know better". She doesnt say that to me because I wasnt born here. I was also bought because my colors went well with the decor of my humans house. I spent years in my cage until Liz rescued me. She took good care of me until she found mom to adopt me. Heres a vote for you.
