 I met my wife and she already had a flock of 23 birds but nothing larger than a senegal, which hates me with a passion. I told her if we were going to keep birds I wanted to have a large macaw. To my surprise she said yes. We looked at rescues but nothing close and you have to volunteer. being 4 hours away makes that a bit hard. pet stores wanted thousands. we found China in our local classifieds. 11yr old macaw and cage, $700. we brough her home and she's been with us ever since.. |
