 we found Pita in a pet store. He was 10 months old so I knew that he had missed vital bonding time with humans. Because of the lack of interaction with people he was (and still can be) a VERY difficult bird. We love him for who he is though.... |

 she loves me for who I am and doesn't force me to be or do anything I don't want. She doesn't mind that I am PAINFULLY loud.
 he mimic's my husbands goose call perfectly. He does it right before bedtime!! Sounds like I have a goose in my room. Loves to take baths, drench the room, and run all over holding his wings up and hanging upside down SCREAMING! Also if I upset him (like wing trims) he will sit on his perch with his back turned to me and give me the silent treatment..

Advice
Dear Pita, Iwas doing reaseach on breeding my jenday conure, and i came acroos a comment you left on this website about Sunday conure hybrids. When you mentioned u were a a member of the club, i just had to leave u a comment. I was considering breeding my Jenday with a Sun conure, but i wanted to make sure it was safe. plz give me any advice u have. thx, left u a vote, write backCome visit me, Hippy.

Flying by to give you a vote Mom has been busy cleaning and working and getting out our Christmas Decorations. Our Relatives are comming to our house for Thanksgiving. Not for sure if I will like all the people around casue this will be my first Thanksgiving but it sounds like we eat a lot and then take naps hehehe.Mom says we will put up the Christmas tree after we have Dinner that it's a Family Tradition. I have never seen a Christmas Tree either so I will just have to wait and see. That is very cool how we have the samename.I pick my owen name out My mommy was calling me Jazz but she started to as me what my name is and I say Pita. She used to tell me i was a pita.I like the name Pita better then Jazz. So mommy said ok yOur name will be PITA.We have 2 cockatiels males 1 BLUE QUAKER and me the Green Quaker.I see tha you get along with the one of the quakers. Well "Pita"'s not such a bad name. Sorry to hear you were in the back of a store. Had to have been traumatic for you. My mom always goes for the underdog when she rescues a pet. We all have stories...well except for me. She picked me out (or rather I picked HER out) as a hand-fed baby. My mom sure is gullible...but I wouldn't have it any other way! Tiki here...just stopped by to give you a vote and check out your blog. You sure are pretty! My head is green & brown with some yellow coming in. So tell me, does "Pita" stand for something or is it "Pita" like the bread. I always like to hear how birdies get their names!
