We have freezing rain...DREARY....Can't be sad though.....My favorite day of the year is comming March 17. My skin sis thought of St. Patrick's Day when she first saw me. It was my green feathers she said. You know Quakers are not Irish we just love to celebrate. All the pretty colors
So it's the end of the month, and fall is finally starting to settle upon us here. Summer went by so fast for me. I lost my second home and found my third. I've been with my new mom now for about five months and I've really started to settle in. The leaves are starting to change color. Lots of red, orange and yellow. It's very pretty in NH this time of year. Apple picking is coming to a close so mom is hoping to get some picking in soon (not that I like apples all that much, but they are one of Pippins favorites). The weather is surprisingly still very warm, but mom and I hear that is soon to change. Whether we like it or not snow is on it's way, brrr! We've has some baby birds come and go and now the house is relatively quiet again. I hope you've had a wonderfull summer and fall, and I'll talk to you soon. Hot Hot heat, no shower
Ugh! I only like showers in that shower thingy place and mommy won't let me in! I actually had to dunk my head in my water dish yesterday! Mommy looks funny and her hair looks like a nest; something about waiting for a contractor and a water heater leak, WHATEVER! I want my shower, Too! Thanks for flying by and commiserating with me. HI DIAGO! :) Thanks for the vote ,I gave you one this morning too :) Zazk's web page is on here too? How come not along with yours with the signature tag? Yup us too mommy always supervises all us pets when we are out and about, cause never know, good idea :) Yeah hot and humid here too, which normal for us. 104 with heat index here. It stays pretty much in the 90's all summer and we do not get them cold fronts like up there. It makes it that we get more use to it not having big temp changes. hey Diago! :) We live about a 10 minute ride from the beach. About 5 miles just on other side of the bridge not far. When we lived in MAss we use to go to Newport RI. Took so long to drive there. Sure is awsome to be close now. Some more of the atlantic Coastal waterway, the Indian River and mommy feeding pigeons at the beach and some boats. Mommy put some pics of postcards of where we live and put arrows to places where we sit and eat at the beach. AND pics of boats on the Interncoastal water way, (the Indian river) by the ocean where the boats are galore. :) Even a sail boat. This was a few weeks ago. And there's a pic of dolphin fin too. Just click on them to see them better. Mommy is putting them just for the day then putting my pics back later. I've seen your name pop up a couple of times on friend's pages and I wanted to fly by and meet you. Wow, you have great pictures! I love the cat one. I have 2 cats myself, but I can only boss around one of them. (The other thinks I'm food.) It looks like you have some neat toys. Are you enjoying a shower in the first photo at the bottom? I like showers once they are over. I sit and kind of look like a little gray torpedo during the shower, and once the water is off, and I'm all wet, then it's preen time and I just have a ball. Of course, I'm always eager to bathe in my water dish, but somehow, I can only manage to get my head and shoulders wet. Boylston. YUP still NEw Englanders at heart. My mum is really from Connecticut, but I am from Mass. I am a DYH Amazon too, but I live with my mommy in Florida:). I never had to live in a pet store but my first mommy went away one day and my new mommy started coming around and she looked and sounded strangly like my first mommy...hmmm humans are wierd. I like to bob my head when Im excited too.. I like to shake my "long hair" like my mommy too, it's funny when I do it she does it back...I can do it longer than her though, says she gets dizzy after too long...hahah
