 Canaries are such cool birds. I didn't think I wanted one, but I adopted a neglected yellow male named Tweety. He was so cool I got a hen and tried to breed him but he was too old. Then I got Chester after Tweety died. He and Fluffy had 2 babies in 2005.

I just wanted you to know mom bought me a new cage yesterday because she says I am so active and playful that I needed more room. I am very happy with it so now maybe I will not give here such a hard time about going back in. She filled it will lots and lots of toys. I love being handled and wish mom could do it all day but she has to go to work so she can keep buying me more toys. Punkin here. Sorry it's been so long to get back to you. Mom's been helping the bigger ones and forgot us!! I flew downstairs a couple of nights ago because Dandy and Sly stayed up late and I was so worried.
We finches are Orange Weavers. We're an african breed. We haven't had any babies yet. I laid some eggs last year. I lay such pretty blue eggs too. Mom says they're the same color as a robins. whatever a robin is. Mom hopes that this year the boys will make good enough nests for us girls.
