Howdy from Turtle Bird!
Your name is perfect, since I'm sure you will rule the roost in your new home. Welcome to the club! You'll have to do some work to train your owner but I think you'll find he's worth it. Good thing we Senegals know a thing or two about running a household. You'll have to teach your Pa to hold you upside down, since that's the best position for prolonged head scratching. My human makes me toys out of things like empty toilet paper rolls which she stuffs with toilet paper wrapped around Q-Tips and pine nuts. She hangs one in my cage every day and it keeps me busy! I agree, chewing and shredding are important jobs--I'm very very good at it, too! Except my Mom threatens to get me part-time work as a document shredder. She also likes to wrap my treats in paper--everything tastes better when it looks like a present. It's fun, being a parrot! You're very photogenic and I hope you can persuade your Pa to go through the whole site, since it has lots of good information on it. See ya around!Come visit me, Turtle Bird.
