 My mom once owned a male Indian ringneck who flew away. He was extremely smart and my mother wanted another one. When my mom perchased me I was the rowdy one of my entire clutch and thought to be a male. My mom liked that about me, but I was just trying to find something to chew. Boy do I have different personality. I am a female and I like to keep to myself alot. I am a perfect bird because as long as I have things to chew I know how to entertain myself. My mom thought taking me to a parrot training class would make me want to do tricks, but that was silly because there we alot of people there and I was so scared I just tried to get away. Ohh well my mom thinks its cute that I carry my stuffed animals and chewy toys around with me everywhere.. |

NEW FRIENDS!!
Morrocco, You are a cutie! My Mom thought I was a girl but she got me tested right away & I'm a boy but I don't like my tail touched AND I don't like petted or cuddling. Playing but no touching. You don't bite anymore? You sound so cute playing with all your Babies. We IRN's usually take some extra love & patience & I think that's what probably gives us our special & quirky personalities. I'm usually pretty good with Mom, except when I forget(ha,ha). I'm lucky Mom is smitten with me. If someone is home, I better be the center of their attention or they hear me. Mom, Dad & I are a perfect match. They had an empty nest & was just what they needed to fill it perfectly!! At least that's what Mom keeps telling me! Do you talk yet, is it clear? Mom talks to me constantly, so I like talking, too, even if I'm the only one that can understand me. I'm starting to say something that sounds like my name "Louuuuu ieeeeee" Louie! At least, Mom thinks so. I'm only 6 mths old, when did you start talking? I also laugh & whistle, some. My Mom says I sound just like my brother's squeekie toy, his name is Buster, a Bichon, he likes to watch me & bark from the patio door that my cage looks out on. I have a sister - Bunny Rabbit, she's a Chihuahua, very cute but not interested. I love to play with Mom on her bed & climb on her back. Then I nestle on her shoulder, play with her hair & we watch TV at night together. She gives me all kinds of toys & lets me try all different kinds of treats,fruits & veggies. I agree I like my roasted peanuts in the shell, tearing the shells open is more fun than the nuts. Do you have anymore photos for us to see? Come & look at my new photos every week.
