 My first parront could no longer keep me because of health issues. My dad was the only person I had known. I really loved him and wished I did not have to leave. I started living with my new foster moms back in July '07. I never had moms before or small parrot friends. I really like it here and my moms really love me so they adopted me October '07. Now we're one big happy family.. |

It's been a heck of a summer
So it's the end of the month, and fall is finally starting to settle upon us here. Summer went by so fast for me. I lost my second home and found my third. I've been with my new mom now for about five months and I've really started to settle in. The leaves are starting to change color. Lots of red, orange and yellow. It's very pretty in NH this time of year. Apple picking is coming to a close so mom is hoping to get some picking in soon (not that I like apples all that much, but they are one of Pippins favorites). The weather is surprisingly still very warm, but mom and I hear that is soon to change. Whether we like it or not snow is on it's way, brrr! We've has some baby birds come and go and now the house is relatively quiet again. I hope you've had a wonderfull summer and fall, and I'll talk to you soon. Hope your Saturday is off to a good start, my Mom needs to get me a sibling like you. These other birds are so small and they dont talk and I think we need a new family member. I think the compliment was from you, thank you. What is your favorite fruit and veggie? My Mom wanted a Meyers but the lady who had a rescue place did not seem interested in letting them be adopted, then we were told she keeps them all, then she said she adopted most of them out? You are a very pretty bird. I've read that you are one of the more reserved and quiet birds in the parrot family! I'm glad you will have a forever home now. It is stressful to leave what you are used to. You must be a pretty happy boy now! How nice that you give your mommy kisses and like to dance in the shower! You must love those showers! Hmmm...peanut butter.I knew I read something about peanut butter....you have to be careful of some peanut butters I know that is why I haven't given any to our fids yet....What brand do you buy?
