 About 4 years ago me and my husband went looking for our first bird. So we went to a breeder and were looking at all the birds. As we were getting ready to leave we walked by Neeko and he just started whistleing at us. He was so funny and really playful. I knew right away that he had to come home with us. Neeko had a very rough begining. He was brought to the breeder by a family who no longer wanted him. It has been a lot of work gaining the trust of a bird that was abused/neglecte- d, but now he is my best friend and I couldn't imagine a day without him. I love when I am sitting with him and he looks up at me with his big eyes and just reaches up and gives me a kiss. Gaining his trust and love has been the biggest reward.. |
