Hi Theener!
Things have been REALLY busy since we moved house to Laurence's. No complaints though. Lots of people come to visit. My favourite is a chap called Bill who sometimes brings his guitar when he needs to practise his Sunday songs for church so he comes and sings them to me. I enjoy singing along.
Sometimes I jump off my cage and go exploring Laurence's house. A lot of Linda's stuff came in cardboard boxes and I couldn't resist eating big holes in some of them.

Don't be confused we just combined Jazzy and Bongos page because very few birds went and visited Jazzy and it is easier on Mama if thetr were combined together as far as blogging goes. Goodness I haven't been here in a while. Anyway, it's really hot out now!
And I went flying the other day--I was outside and something spooked me and I flew over a few houses! I didn't get more than two feet off the ground though, so mommy caught me really quickly.Come visit me, Athena.

Hello from Bowdon Jct.
Hello and how are you doing today? Yesterday was beautiful in Ga. And Mama decided to do some yard work and we all got to go outside all day long. Rocky our dog had to stay on his runner or he would take off and Mama would have to hunt him down. Mama cut the grass and picked up trash and limbs and raked leaves. She made the yard look nice. She can’t wait to plant pretty flowers. She wants to plant some we can eat. Jazz is getting much nicer. Daddy was trying to teach Rosey to say HEY MAMA but Jazz said it first. She was so proud and it really surprised Mama. Bongo bit Mama again and called Jazz a bad Bird. Mama couldn’t believe it. Niah is trying to talk some more now that he sees all the excitement the others cause. Niah is kinda shy but he really like attention from Mama and Daddy. Well we want to get around to everyone before we have to get off the computer and here is a vote for you. Hi, Athena! It's Layla
Hey, girl, us beautiful Timneh girls have to stick together! It was SO COLD here in Alaska about two weeks ago! Down to 35 below and Mom was doing everything she could think of to keep me warm enough. It was nice - I got warm showers, fuzzy blankets, snuggles and kisses, special treats. Of course I get these a lot anyway, but it's so nice when it's cold.
I picked up a bad habit and it's driving Mom nutz. I love to play "Incoming!" and fly to Mom's shoulder whenever I please, with lots of flapping and squawking so she knows how much I love this game. It's especially fun when she's getting ready for a bath or just stepping out of the shower, because bare skin is so easy to grip and it makes her squawk louder than I do! Do you have any "fun" games that drive your family crazy? I'd love to hear about them!

Hi from Fortune, St. Patrick and Lonnie
Hey, hey, hey, it's a bright, bright, bright sunshiny day. We have votes for all our friends.... No snow to watch.(frown) and cold outside (brrr). Lonnie and Ellie finally moved into the bird room with us. Yeah, I just want to stay close to my cage. Fortune is throwing his veggies and waiting for the afternoon fruit. hehe....We are all just fine. Mom is excited because they are having a bird fair in OkC this Saturday. She has never been to one and warned all of us that she has plans for the day. The skinbabies are trying to go with her...(better there than here) hehe. We can let her have a day off. Daddy will take care of us.. but no out of cage time until she comes home... Does that happen to you? I got lots of toys for Christmas! But mommy's not giving them to me all at once, since they won't all fit in my cage. She also bought me peanut treats, but I won't eat them. Even when she ate one in front of me.

It's been a heck of a summer
So it's the end of the month, and fall is finally starting to settle upon us here. Summer went by so fast for me. I lost my second home and found my third. I've been with my new mom now for about five months and I've really started to settle in. The leaves are starting to change color. Lots of red, orange and yellow. It's very pretty in NH this time of year. Apple picking is coming to a close so mom is hoping to get some picking in soon (not that I like apples all that much, but they are one of Pippins favorites). The weather is surprisingly still very warm, but mom and I hear that is soon to change. Whether we like it or not snow is on it's way, brrr! We've has some baby birds come and go and now the house is relatively quiet again. I hope you've had a wonderfull summer and fall, and I'll talk to you soon. Yay for your leg!
I'm so happy to hear your leg is all better. I bet your glad too. With only two it must have been annoying to have one out of commission. Although I saw a cockatoo once on TV that had two prostetic legs/feet. It was amazing to see him walking. But kudos to you for your recovery! I'll talk to you later.

Howdy Athena!
Wow a broken leg. I couldn't imagine. I sure hope it heals for you real fast. Mom would die if I broke my leg. I could just see my mom carrying me everywhere. She is silly like that. You can bark...that is too funny. Mom thought I would have picked up barking but I didn't. I did however pick up the cuckoo clock. Mom laughs at me when I cuckoo. She said if I am going to cuckoo I should at least do it at the top of the hour or the half hour. I have no idea what she is talking about. he he he! I see you don't care for pellets. Mom buys me weaning pellets and makes them wet for me. I absolutely love them. Mom claims I am addicted to them. She buys me a variety of pellets so I don't get bored eating the same ones all the time. I love the spicy ones she buys me. I love hot stuff. Well I must be going. Welcome to the channel.
