I went visiting! I went to visit Laurence for a few days because Linda had some painting done in the room where I live. She said the paint fumes would not be good for me. It was fun at his house. Although I was in my small cage when he was out, my playstand went along too. There was also a huge cardboard box for me to sit in. Thanks Laurence for having me to stay! new photos hi linda took some photos of me eating my porridge. as you can see, my cage is next to a big window. this was a sunshiny day, it is the middle of winter where i live, so its great to get some sun! in the third pic you can see my play stand in front, i use a ladder to get to it. also you can see the curly rope toy in my cage on the right, that's the one that i don't really like. Howdy Boo! I love your story. Mom loves to hear about birdies finding a wonderful home...fortunately you found 2. You are so special! I see you don't like that your rope is wobbly. My mom ties mind to my cage at the top and the bottom so it doesn't wobble as much. I hate when my boing moves too much. It makes me crazy so mom ties it fast and then I climb all over it. Monday update the weekend was quite fun, i went with my mom to visit a friend for saturday night. the only problem was, i had to go in my travelling cage which is a bit small. still, when we got there, i could sit on top of it of course as there were no dogs or cats about. it was very sociable, much better than when people go out and leave me at home!! and i came back home last night. i like going in cars. :) Come visit me, Boo.	07/23/2007 05:34.31 AM	Report This Comment

Tuki says hello and welcome! Dear Boo, Greetings from Missouri in the USA! I love meeting bird friends from other parts of the world. I am 16 years old, so I like to meet other "mature" birds, too. Those young birds do not know all the things that we do! I was hatched in Florida, and my mom's dad owned me for 15 years. As you know, we birds are a lot of work, and my new mom's family adopted me so that my first dad did not have so much work keeping my cage clean, etc. I like my new home in Missouri. There is a boxer dog, and a cat here too. I have put them in their place in the past 1 1/2 years that I lived here. Have a great day. Welcome to the club! Aww, I'm sorry you were taken from the wild.. I always feel so bad for any birds that were stolen from their homes! This is Oscar, and I was born in Iowa, and now I'm in Minnesota now, and I'm only 8 months old. My mom just brought home some baby finches that she's caring for, and they make the most annoyoing chirps! "peep peep peep" is all they say! Mom seems to like it, though. hello? erm i've done the skype thing but this is my first blog. so i don't really know what to write here. its a lovely day in cape town, and everyone has gone to work so i am in my cage. i live on the first floor of a house and my room has a big window so it has a great view. right now i am whistling at all the wild birds. there are eqyptian geese, hadedas and also some noisy starlings in the roof. funny, humans get cross when i imitate those. L1 has put a new rope toy in my cage. she wants me to climb on it, but it wobbles a bit so i don't really like it. i just might shred it instead.
