I saw him in a bird store, neglected and underweight, with a complex. It bothered me so bad, that I talked Ryan into it after I had done the research. After 2 weeks, we were able to finally go and 'rescued' him. It's taken over a year and several bandaids, but it's been worth it. He is a loving bird..

Active within 1235 Days Hi! My name is Shiloh I am a White-Capped Pionus from Homer, AK. Shi 7 years old M White-Capped Pionus When I'm good, they give me sun flower seeds occasionally. I know it's naughty and I should watch my weight, but as long as I give them a kiss, they'll give me one. I like being on the playstand. I get to watch tv and everything else that goes on in the house. I hate it when mom or dad come up to me and want to love on me when they're on the phone or are listening to the headphones. They sometimes don't remember that I can hear what they can. She lets me sit back and watch things happen. She puts me on the playstand by the window and I get to see outside for as long as I'm out. I won't tell mom why, but I love to take a bath in my water bowl when she's blow drying her hair. And she giggles when she sees my food because I don't strow anything. I leave the shelled seeds in there. She says she didn't realize there were such a thing as a 'neat' bird.. .

What a good looking guy Hey Buddy, Thanks for stopping in and saying hey to us. We had to come visit you and give you a vote. I'm so glad your mom was able to rescue you. Humans aren't all bad but some just don't get it it seems. You are a really cute guy. Mom and us got to see pionus like you for the first time in real life at a bird fair this weekend in Madison. It was really neat. It was the first time we'd ever been to one and it was so much fun to meet everyone and see all the different birds after only reading about them for so long. She said I was her dream bird! How very flattering. I bet you are a dream for your mom too. It's okay to be a little naughty I am on a daily basis.
