Hello from Fortune, St. Patrick D' bird and Lonnie Hey Everybirdie, Happy 10 day birthday Baby Zebra Finch!!!!!! Lonnie here, just wish you could see proud Beep and Peep, his Zebra parents. They are now able to leave the nest together sometimes... Mom took a new pic this morning. It is on Patrick's page with the other pics... He is growing fast. Our cage is now next to the Zebra cage. Hope Ellie is taking notes. Hi there ~ Thought we would stop by and tell you good news. After a long time of waiting Poppy and I (Sunshine) have finally made a successful nest. Our Mom thought we just laid one egg after 6 days of peeking in our nest. The baby hatched on Sat. and on Sunday when she finally peeked at the yellow fuzzy baby...she was shocked to see that I successfully had laid 3 more eggs! So this coming weekend we will have some hatching. How's that for an early Christmas Present to our Parronts???? Here's a vote for you!! Are you all decorated at your nest for Christmas? hi Good morning my little friend. I am so glad to here you had a great day. me too. going to spend the day alone withh my bird family. everyone in going away here..mom decorated our cage for Christmas and boy we sure do love it. lots of things to play on. we had about 4 in of snow last night so there are lots of birds on our back porch eating what mom puts out for them. they say hello to us and we to them...they look so cold..you have a blessed Wednesday. stay safe... hi how are you this fine morning, we are all fine here in Ohio, it's a little cold. does anybody know if it's ok for mom to shine a light on our play area we stay in the window area and it is cool . we think mommy bird stoped laying and that she has 4 eggs. our human mom keeps them or the box rapped with a towl so they stay good and warm.I will take pic and keep you posted. I try to help by wanting to set on the eggs for daddy, but he gets real mad at me..the other day I got in the box and daddy stood there and screemed and screeched until our human mom came and got me out of there...she was laughing so hard it was really funny... hi Now there are 3 eggs everyone got up early today mom sings to us "everybody ought to go to sunday schoo" we don't like that song, we know it means she will be gone until after 2pm...then back out again...she says that song is her was to let us know the days...ha ha.. A BIG THANK YOU FROM LITTLE MISS LUCY! Hey Pearl, I can hardly believe what a blessed little birdie I am! Here it's my 1st week on the BC and I've been voted BOTW. I know it's nothing I did. It's because my fister, Daisy, has so many good friends like you who flew by to welcome me to the BC and voted for me last week. And now you're my friend, too. Thank you from the bottom of my little blue heart! Daisy is not my cagemate. We have separate cages. We play together during the day and eat together, but Mommy will not ever put us together. She said to tell you that if you want your birds to bond with you, not to put them together. If you get a new bird, get him to bond with you 1st and then let them play together. Both Daisy and I would rather be with Mommy than with each other, so she gives us our own individual attention. Mommy's happy to answer any of your questions, although this week it takes her longer to get back to you because of all the thank you's she has to type for me. HI Pearl Hi Pearl I read something on Daisy's page saying you have to be 3 or 4 to talk. I am only 4 months old and I can whistle several different whistles, and I can say what a good boy, what are you doing, you be a good boy, and OPEEEEEE. The younger you start the better because once you are older you can not learn as good. Hello From Daisy Hey Pearly-Whirly, Are you an only fid? I was for 1 1/2 yrs. Then last week Mommy and Daddy got another fid, a little blue quaker girl. Her name is Miss Lucy Blue. I was very apprehensive about having another fid around, but guess what? I like her. I think we are going to be very good friends. Mommy hopes that someday she will talk. I don't, but Mommy loves me anyway. Welcome Pearl We are tiels too. We have 5 tiels at our nest. You look alot like Sunshine but she is a girl. We haven't had any granola....what kind do you eat? Our mom gives us alot of different kinds of greens to eat and we love Cilantro and millet. Pellets are pretty good too...we sort out the red fruit pellets first to eat. We have a Sun conure in our Bird room too. He is pretty quiet for a Conure. Well come by and see us! Here is your first vote!
