I have my own pet sitting business and I had this little old lady call me up one day asking if I knew of anyone that would want a bird. She told me she had put an add in the paper for a free bird with cage. (I work with our local Humane Society and putting an add for a free pet is a no no around here)Every one that answered the add asked the first wrong question, "How much is she worth?". Thank goodness she screened! She had Coco since the day she was born, sadly her husband had lung cancer and only had a 5% chance of living. Their doctor told them bird dander was the worst for the lung cancer. I told her I would take the bird and find a good home for her, and keep her informed with the details. I got Coco home and fell in love but was still thinking about a good home for her. I was also feeling bad for the previous owner, after all before I left with Coco the little old lady gave her a hug and Coco said I love you Granny. I cried all the way home feeling bad, poor woman losing 2 important things in her life. When I got home my husband and I talked it over and decided that we would keep Coco for a few months and if the husband sadly lost his battle with cancer we would see if the woman would want Coco back. I called several weeks in a row and never got a call back. I figured she was in to much pain to deal with it or she figured she could not take care of Coco now that she was on her own. At the end of it all we could not give her up. That is how Coco got her new home..

Active within 2145 Days Hi! My name is Coco I am a Cockatoo from Valdosta, GA. Sweet Pea, Loud Mouth 23 years old F Cockatoo Oranges!!!!! On her part of the kitchen counter. Dads recliner, under the covers sleeping with Mom. No harness, other people touching her to fast. Their hugs and kisses Coco puts her bigger nuts at the bottom of her cage for later. Or in her water, we think maybe she is trying to soften them up????. Fly and let fly!!!!.

Hello from Ollie Oh Coco, such a sad story. It is obvious that your first owner loved you very much. But it sounds like you found yourself a great new family to live with! How long have you been with the new fam? Are you setteling in good? I like to put stuff in my water too. Usually its my pellets.
