 I was a lost birdie, I don't know how long I was out. Saw a nice lady, decided to say hi, but she couldn't keep me, she had a BIG gray thing,(CAG) I don't think it liked me very much. No-one claimed me. I was very lonely. She had a friend who had lost her fid, so she is my new forever mom.. |

It sounds like you fly like I do.. I haven't flown into anything yet but even though my wings are clipped, I can still get some decent air. My landings are not very graceful though. Yesterday one of the dogs startled me and I took off for mommy's bookcase and I knocked over some of her cookbooks.
I'm glad to hear that feather is not bothering you anymore. Is it still coming in crooked? I'm going through a major molt right now and I've lost all of my blue chest feathers. Mommy worries because I used to pluck that area alot and she wants to make sure I'm not plucking again. But I was stressed from an improper diet and vitamin deficiency at the time. I guess it's just one more thing to ask my vet next week.

I don't really like my wings touched except when mommy pets me gently now... but she thinks I may have injured them because they are sensitive. But mommy is really gentle and patient with me so that's nice. And I let my brother Scritch preen my wings sometimes too.
Just for good measure, I'm going to the vet next week so mommy can find out if there's something wrong with my wings. Can you fly or glide, Sweetie?

You sure are a sweetie!!I like to snuggle under moms chen too!!Mom likes my red too.She calls it my red briches.What kinds of stuff do you like to eat??
