 As with Peaches, our sun conure, Maple was on consignment at a local pet shop. Maple's head feathers were just pin feathers and he was obviously under a lot of stress. When we brought them home, Maple spent many days quiet and lunging at anyone who would come near his cage. One day, I think he realized that he was home and loved, and repeated the phrase, "I love you" for almost a half an hour straight.. |

Welcome and I'm pleased to give you your first vote. I'm sure you will make a lot of friends, here. I know I have. I am a quaker, too. My mom says a very spoiled quaker. I like to talk a lot and weave things into my cage bars. Just as I get my "nest" exactly how I like it, Mama has to clean my cage and I have to start all over, again.
