 I had just lost my beloved female cockatiel of 10 years who i had raised from an egg; she herself became eggbound, received life-saving surgery, but continued to lay reletentlessly despite all our efforts to help her and only managed to make it 6 mo's past surgery before her heart gave out from exhaustion. In anguish, I knew I needed a baby bird to raise, not to replace my Tenzie but to fill my heart again. I ran across Sunny in the same place I had bought Tenzie, 10 years before! She was from the same breeder, and it was fate. So i brought the little one home and nursed her up to be one of the sweetest birds I have ever known.. |

HELLO AGAIN FROM DAISY!
Sunny, it's so sweet that you were asking about me. I've been very well, thank you. We understand about being busy, especially this time of year. We probably won't be blogging much for the next month. We had a lovely Thanksgiving, and hope yours was as good. Thanks the visit and vote. Mommy has been having 'puter problems non-stop for about a month now, which is a major reason why we haven't blogged much in the last month. She says it's SO frustrating!
