Oh MY!
Here I've been promoting this Bird Fair thing thinking that surely mom would come home with a variety of new things for me to play with but I didn't stop to think that she might instead bring home something with feathers that I CAN'T play with. You mean to tell me there might be cute little replicas of YOU there that she COULD bring home? Yikes. This may turn out differently than I planned. I heard rumor that she's also going up there to be introduced to a big Scarlet Macaw who's a current guest of the QCPS. Seems Jen and Christy's dad thought my flockmate Rainbow might like some company so he gave us a sneak peek of Caruso. Maybe I'd best padlock mom in her room, prevent anything wild and crazy happening at the Bird Fair. Thanks for the beaks up on this, Glory. Oh, how can I say that... having a splash of color like you sitting next to me would really jazz up my photos! Thanks for the vote you left... under apparent duress! K *v*

Mom was telling me about a little Sunnie she say at a sale in Burlington, IA... said seeing a bird with all your bright colors was such a delight. Comments like that make me feel so dull!! I'm thinking that maybe, if you lose any of those bright orange, blue, or green feathers you could save them for me and I could use them as 'feather extensions'! K *v*

Good morning Glory, we imagine you've heard that before, our dad had a Sun and a Nanday for a long time, but for a while he couldn't care for them the way he thought they deserved to be cared for, so he selected a new home for them with some Conure loving people within our bird club. We happen to know he misses them very much, because when they left for their new homes, they took a little piece of his heart with them! We're thinking that you and your feathered companions can work up a pretty loud rukus from time to time, you guys sure seem to get along well with Pascal, your big brother of the flock, on the block, he's one of our favorite parrots, but don't tell him or he might get the big head, LOL. Best wishes to you and the rest of the rest of the birds in your hood, enjoy your stay at BC's Bird of the Week page...

Thank you for the visit and compliment. I am a sweet little girl but I can be tough when needed especialy around big brother Maxi. I wasn't always this cute, my feathers were an absolute mess my first year or two. Didn't have tail feathers at all and then the broken wing last year. But I am doing good this year and my feathers are good looking too. I just turned 3 May 20th and I am ready to take on the birdy world. Heres a vote from me and will go vote for all your fiblings. Hey Everybirdie, I guess love is in the air. Since the BC won't let mom make avitar's for any of our bird's but Patrick, we can't go to the Aviary. But, Patrick put his LIMERICK OF THE DAY under his Motto this morning and added the featured Birds to it so you can click on their Avitar and go right to their page.. He and Ruby Sue are enjoying a virtual romance in the aviary. Maximillian is in there with the featured couple...WHO is his girl? HE WON'T TELL. Maybe he doesn't know yet..GIRL'S SOUNDS LIKE THIS HANDSOME HUNK IS AVAILABLE! Check him out. Kelly here! Just wingin' my way around the BC this afternoon. Stopped in at Pascal's the other day, moments before mom walked out the door to head your direction. She was planning on visiting both of the Teske's while in your illustrious city but dallied too long at Sam's and arrived at the store after they'd closed. Her excuse was she thought they stayed open till 6. Whatever, she didn't come back with anything interesting for me. Bummer. Don't know what I was hoping for... maybe something with a bell or some colored wood. I'm tired of this plane pine-colored stuff. Boring!! Hopefully your weekend was more colorful than mine. Shucks, you could just look in the mirror and be way ahead of me! Here's to a good week... K 'v'

VOTE4U, Beavis is such a cutie and I am glad he and his sweet Mommy finally got to be BOTW! You are so so cute!! What were you up to this weekend? My Mom & Dad went to a art fair our city has one a year & picked up a couple cute birdie pictures. Nothing for me, hufff!! She said they only had doggie toys, I don't know what's wrong with them don't they know everyone love us birides? She did meet 2 pretty birdies their parronts were letting them ride on their shoulders. Both were bright yellow & green winged conures, shy but very sweet!! She is till a little behind but catching up, cause I keep meeting nice BBFF's, he,he,he! Mornin', Glory!!
Ooo, that was fun, even a second time! I'm writing to let you know that I do not yet have the honor of sharing my perch with a beauty like you. Mom e-mailed Kitty but did not hear back from her. It was noted that the webpage was 'under construction' and our note may have gotten lost in the process. I imagine the little feller listed as available is probably long gone as the page said it'd not been updated for some time. All of this is fine as mom really isn't ready to add another bird to the flock just yet. If she's honest with herself, which she's not always, she knows she wants a bigger room ready for all us birds before 'enhancing' the flock. She hates to rush her children growing up and moving out but she really wants one of their rooms because it's so big and bright, with lots of windows (which the 19 year never uncovers). She's threatened to move him to the garage so her 'babies' can have the room we'll certainly make better use of than he is!! BUT, when everything's ready, Kitty's definitely gonna hear from my mom. She wants a beauty just like YOU, Glory!! ~I feel for you and your frustration over the inequality of shared time you feel that Grey gabber at your house gets. Surprisingly, as the Grey gabber in my house I don't feel I have the compulsory amount of attention a grey is entitled to. No, I find myself forced to compete with a large macaw. (If you'd like to view the object of my vexationhere on the BC his name is Rainbow #14079.) We all have our trials, don't we. Oh, we have it so rough!!
